This update is in regards to the Owner’s response 6 months ago. I decided to try and contact the owner via text message at first. He still has read receipts on and of course he read my message, but didn’t respond. So I figured I’d call, but as I expected he never answered. This has gone on for so long, and I have given them so many chances to make it right. He refuses to though, even though he has admitted to screwing me over. It’s no surprise that I’ve read several other reviews of people having similar interactions with this business. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. Cause even if he doesn’t blatantly steal from you like he did me, he’s definitely coming out on top with whatever deal you make.

P.S. If you truly wanna make things right you can reach out to me. You not only have my name already, but we’ve interacted on messenger. You can message me there or by email. I will update this review in at the end of the month verifying that he hadn’t called me or made things right. Because he definitely won’t.

I thought I’d reach out not too long ago and see if the owner may want to make things right. I figured my call wouldn’t get answered, but by my surprise it was! So I reminded him of who I was and he played as if he didn’t remember me. He knew exactly who I was though, because he proceeded to tell me that my review of him and his company has caused him to lose out on so many potential sales. And that I will never see a dime from him, or the gems I purchased. I even agreed to delete this review if he made things right. Nope! He said the damage was done and that the money he owes me will help offset the money he’s lost… HIS WORDS EXACTLY!!! Do not support this kind of shady business!

BUYERS BEWARE!!! This company is so Shady! I tried warning everyone years ago about these crooks. But by the looks of it, people actually still buy from them. Read my previous review, and the numerous other 1 star reviews. They're thieves! They upbid you, they charge you sales tax when they shouldn't, they won't send your items even after you pay, and they have no problem doing it. The owner lied to me so many times, and then admitted it. Tell everyone you know that may deal with these guys to stay clear! And post your reviews on every site they're on.

I also wanted to add that I'm a bit disappointed that I never received a response to my review... just goes to show that they know they did me wrong.

***UPDATE 4/6/2022*** I just got done speaking with the owner, after having to call from a bogus number. He apparently isn’t accepting my calls anymore. And he told me that because of my negative reviews, he now is refusing to pay me, or make it right. Are you kidding me?! This guy expects to get 5 stars after stealing $361 from me?! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

This company is super shady!!! You place a max bid for an item, and you will pay it. Doesn’t matter if nobody else is bidding, the auctioneer will bid on the seller’s behalf to get the most out of you. I bid on close to 30 items, and was charged my max bid for every single one. I disputed their criminal like process, and they had nothing to say. They then charged my card within seconds of having money deposited, even though I changed it to a different one and canceled my account with them. No notification, no receipt, nothing. BE CAREFUL PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

UPDATE: It’s now March of 2022, and still no items or refund. I’ve called the owner multiple times, sent texts, and nothing… The first few times it was “I’ll look into it tomorrow, and get back to you”. Never got a response back. Now he just doesn’t respond. I know he’s gotten my messages, cause the guy has read receipts turned on. They literally stole $370 from me. And I know of others that have had the same thing happen. BUYER BEWARE!!!

BIG TIME SCAMMERS!!!

BIG TIME SCAMMERS!!!

I recently won a few items from Berger Coins and Collectables auction that was ran online through Hibid.com. I won a mistery box bid of approximately $100. The minimum bid was just a few dollars less and I was the only bidder. I also won 5 gemstones, a roll of wheat pennies and a roll of Indian head pennies. I received my items yesterday and the mystery box revealed 1oz silver coin, and extremely worn 1936 quarter and Barber coin, and a small yellow gemstone found out at a highly rated jewelry that it was a Cetrine stone worth $6. An ounce of silver is worth $32.64. A circulated 1936 quarter in decent condition is $7. And the Barber dime is worth $6. So if my math serves me well that’s $51.64. So this business made $50 from me. Also, The 50 pc Indian roll only had 9 that were Indian pennies. The rest were regular wheat pennies. I wasn’t expecting up to “$3,000”worth of coins as what was described in the listing, but if you place a reserve on a lot it’s expected to be worth at least the reserve price that’s listed.

The communication with this business has been almost nonexistent. Extremely hard to get in touch with anyone and when they say they’ll get back to you, they don’t. I am not purchasing anything else from this business and would highly recommend others to STAY AWAY, unless you like loosing money. I also found out that this business’s rating on the BBB website is an F with alerts. There’s also comments from other past customers either not receiving items or receiving items of significant less value then what was represented. On BBB, Google and Yelp reviews going back years.
