Great and helpful service

The chap who looked after us was so patient with me and so helpful it made such a change from a bed shop we had been to the weekend before.
It's small things like this that made the sale, I wasn't going to spend as much as I did but because of the customer service I received from the salesman it wasn't as painful as I thought

I have purchased a bed from Bensons previously and have been very pleased. I needed a second bed in similar configuration. The salesman quickly recovered my previous order and was able to replicate.

Avoid at all cost!

Waited nearly 7 weeks for a bed and mattress costing almost £3k and ended up with nothing!

Delivery confirmation received countless times up to and including the day before delivery was due. But, at 5pm the night before,received a call to say the mattress wasn’t coming, only the bed. Mattress will be at least another 3 weeks. Was asked, Do you want the bed delivered, said no, bring it when the mattress is ready, they said, if you don’t take the bed now, it may not be available when the mattress is ready, as they will assign it to someone else!! I reluctantly took delivery. When it arrived the next day, the stitching on the headboard was visibly coming loose, the back was ripped in numerous places and it looked like there was a cigarette burn on the side of it!

Asked for a full refund, was told it would have to wait until it was collected. Pointed out that I hadn’t had the expensive bit of the delivery, ie the mattress, so why can’t you refund me the mattress!

Going to take a week to collect, in the meantime I have an unusable bed blocking my room, I’m out of pocket £3k and still need to buy another bed!

Shocking!

Offer with unpacking mattress and putting on bed, these things are dam heavy and awkward when handling as a single female, and take more care getting mattress upstairs, as you are NOT supposed to bend the mattress

In store team helped with recommending products to us. Very honest and guided us to our perfect bed.
The delivery team were fantastic. Helpful and gave us advice for when we built our bed.
The only thing I would say is perhaps you could do with more staff in store. I found myself floating at first which was good in a way as we had to time to test a few mattresses but we had been there a little while before getting asked if we needed assistance. There was only one guy helping us and another family. It’s a long process and the waiting around for a member of staff to finish with another family can be quite a wait but saying that Colin was very busy with us all and handled it very well. Perhaps just have a few more members of staff available to talk too, it’s a big store to keep searching for staff.

Salesman met are needs. Very polite and courteous.

Went to Bensons and was approached by Charlotte in a very friendly manner. She went out of her way in finding the right product for us and with discount, it was a great price for a very good product. Would highly recommend the Ipswich branch.

We were served by the store manager who was really friendly and very helpful .Really good experience where you can see and try before you buy.

Salesman was more interested in the sale than picking up on what we were saying had he explained that we had miss read the sale sign and the bases were not in the sale outcome might have been different.
