And it was thanks to the assistant who we spoke to on entering the showroom.
he was helpful and explained everything to us.

The delivery guys (delivering a new mattress) noticed some of the screws on my bed had not been put in when built, it had not been built by Bensons originally (built by a friend) and they kindly went to the van and got the screws and fixed my bed and made it secure for me, they didnt have to do that and I think that was just a kind gesture which I appreciated thank you guys

I would have given 6 stars apart from on delivery day I paid for installation and taking away of rubbish but apparent this was for the bed only - the bedside cabinet was not included and I should have been informed when ordering - no big issue as was easy to put together but it meant I had a trip to the top to dispose of all the packaging that I thought I had already paid for disposal

Great advice, friendly service, smooth, quick experience. Knowledgeable staff who explain things well. Guided to our perfect purchase.

As soon as we walked into the store Dmytro walked over and helped us he was friendly polite and efficient.

Despite arriving 30 mins before closing time we had the personal attention of one of the salesmen who asked questions to work out what type of mattress might be most suitable for us. He then took us to see and try several different types so we could experience the different degrees of hardness/ softness until we found one that both of us found comfortable. Although we were aware that it was past closing time, we were never given the impression that we ought to hurry up - quite the contrary! Thank you for your help and guidance.

Very helpful sales staff. Delivery, set up and removal of old mattress exactly as promised.

Jonathan was very knowledgeable about the product. Pleasant manner and didn't rush us to make a decision. Friendly atmosphere. One of the best experiences we have had when purchasing a large item. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very efficient and helpful and this applies to the delivery men as well.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. John in the store placed our order as there was an issue online. The delivery guys were efficient and we are really pleased with our new divan base.

We have just been bed shopping with my husband at the Altrincham Bensons for Bed and had a very unpleasant experience.

We were about to spend between 1K and 2k in your store but we are now taking our custom elsewhere.

When we walked in the lady that greeted us told us that there was 20% of all beds. We were looking at the Tempur. She told us we would get 20% off the bed and the pillows. This turned out to be incorrect

We decided to go for the super king Tempur mattress in soft and the manager who we think was Chris, told us we could have it for 1888 and calculated this on the ladies phone and showed us the price. We then enquired about refurbished options and they looked on a laptop and said there wasnt any in super king soft. So we asked about delivery times for the new super king. She told us 17 June.

The manager then sat down and started to show me the discounts we were getting. He then told us we would be paying £2088 in total. I referenced back to the £1888 figure we had agreed earlier and he said i was asking it up. He started shouting and getting inpatient saying he needed to meet his targets and he would give it to us for 2000. At this point we both thought his attitude to be rude and aggressive. The lady apologised as she said the other figure of £1888 must have been a mistake. But good customer service would have honoured that original figure quoted. We also didnt appreciate being shouted at and his aggressive tone at all. I am not surprised at all that hes not meeting his sales targets if he speaks to customers like that.

We walked out. Never to return to that store again.
