They won't refund my $28.84. They received the returned concealer on 2/27. It's now 3/25. The refund was promised by 3/23. I am out $28.84 plus $16 to ship the concealer back to Benefit. It's easier to shop somewhere else, anywhere else. Furthermore, the concealer is being discontinued and it was not clear at checkout that I ordered #2, but received #6. Most of all I just want my $28.84 back so I can go somewhere else. I'll just have to endure the cost of shipping the conccealer back to Benefit.
Customer service sucks
Hi, I’ve used benefit products for years and have loved them. This was until I made an order online. I received old dried out mascara, and old mismatched and unmixed concealer. I tried to call benefit for help and the line didn’t work. I emailed them. I heard from them three weeks later. I am so disappointed that I am no longer using their products.

This was my first order from Benefit’s official website, although I’ve been a loyal customer of the brand for years through other retailers.
The package got stuck in USPS delivery and didn’t move for weeks. I contacted Benefit within a few days after noticing the issue. Their response came 26 business (!) days later. By that time, USPS had suddenly marked the shipment as “delivered,” even though it was never delivered.
The U.S. forwarding warehouse confirmed in writing that the parcel was not received and asked for an official Proof of Delivery. Benefit refused to request this from USPS and relied instead on a generic tracking screenshot anyone can access.
To add to the confusion, Benefit first told me the order had been returned to them, then later said this was a mistake and not related to my order.
In U.S. commerce, the seller bears the risk of loss until delivery is confirmed.
It’s remarkable that a brand would choose to lose a long-term customer over such a low-value order and clearly broken customer service process.

I used to work for the company and I didn't know where else to write this.But I wanted to get my feelings accross if you are recurrent employer of this establishment do not risk it, as you will feel overworked under appreciated and as if certain levels of management are superior to your title.

As to those that are from of colour, I feel like a slave, working to survive and not getting much back. I went to benefit in sephora westfeild London on 13 December 2025 and was served by a lovely lady called Hadassah.
She noticed me and mum trying on make up from another make up brand.
Hadassah was attentive and showed great enthusiasm.
She introduced us to benefit make up and showed us a few foundations that would suit our skin tone.
She also did a swatch sample to match colours for our face and neck.
Once we both chose hadassah applied the make up and showed us concealer and bronzer.
I was so blown away by her care and great customer service.
She provided a 1st class service and we were amazed with her attention to detail and her honest recommendation.
Benefit cosmetics now has a new FAN

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Sent my return via certified mail and received the signed receipt ... it has now been a almost a month and no refund! I have called multiple time and had a rep go over tracking info with me and promised and email within 24 hrs.... not! On the phone again (after getting voicemail 6x) NEVER NEVER EVER order online from them
Customer Service Issue
I was looking for a specific product that they carried and was not able to get it any of my local makeup stores so I went directly to the source. As a new customer, I signed up to receive their marketing notifications and was to have received a 15% discount on my order. I placed the order but had pushed the confirm order button and realized that I had not put in the code for the discount.
I called them and got a rep on the phone. I explained that I had literally just placed the order and wanted them to either take the 15% off and credit my card or cancel the order and I would go back and do it correctly.
She put me on hold and then came back to say that she could not do either things. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she would transfer my to the order dept. She did but I was disconnected.
My complaint is that I tried 4 more times with an hour's time span and either got disconnected from the call or was transferred and got disconnected again. It was extremely frustrating and frankly I will not order directly from them again. I will find a new product to use from a different company.

I recently purchased eyeliner/ blush and mascara from benefit. Thought I would try a new set.
The mascara was clumpy and the eye liner does not last long at all and I found was difficult to apply. I paid almost £50 for 3 items.

I used to always buy the They're Real mascara but having bought one in Dublin airport and started to use it I found it awful the wand is awful just the overall product is awful never buying this again irritated my eyes also

The New foundation has got to be one of the worst products I've ever used... greasy makes all your pores more noticeable, terrible coverage...very very poor product, supermarket brands are better than this rubbish foundation...!!!!!
