I have recently worked with Begbies Traynor in Teeside due to the unfortunate liquidation of a company. For a company Director, the liquidation process isn’t pleasant, but the advice and support I’ve had throughout from the Begbies Traynor team and the other companies they recommended has been excellent. I hope, respectfully, to never have to use Begbies Traynor for this type of work again, but I sincerely appreciate everything that has been done on my behalf and wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending them to other people who find themselves in a similar situation.

Calling in Begbies Traynor to guide us through this very difficult time of going into liquidation was seamless following the previous weeks that had been frantic and upsetting.
From the initial very professional meeting to the closure we were always given a brilliant service. Nothing was too much effort, communication was quick and informative and as a company going through this awful time they always had time for us, even though they were probably dealing with other cases at the time. Meetings were always set up to accommodate all who needed to be present, and there was never any feeling that being in this situation was our fault. Following the closure they were always there to answer questions as well as supporting not just the management but the employees to guide them through their redundancy payments and query's. I’d highly recommend Begbies Traynor to any business director facing business challenges. They made a difficult time feel much easier to navigate.

Where to start! 8 months ago my employer sought advice from S.L at the southampton branch, where he advised her to liquidate her debts and sell the assets and staff contracts, then all of a sudden 6 months ago we are called to video chat with SL where he makes us all redundant, we never recieve anything in writing no cn numbers, we wait weeks for p45s that are sent in the whatsapp group chat as a pdf so data protection is breached, and low and behold simon wasn't even appointed and the company hasn't filed insolvency to this day. Only then to be ignored by SL, who was happy to make us all redundant on behalf of our employer but then couldn't care less about us. Maybe next time make sure you're paid before doing someone's dirty work! and then have a duty of care to people after you took it upon yourself to make them redundant.

In response to the reply, my ex employer has no morals, as I informed you at the time. I was quite open and honest with you at all times.
As soon as she decided that she wouldn't foot your bill herself, you washed your hands of us and offered no guidance of what we should do next, or where to turn, staff members were left unpaid, and now 5 months later are still waiting. We should have been advised to take her to tribunal, in the initial zoom meeting, and to be honest simon didn't seem to know very much about redundancies, which is odd as he's an insolvency practitioner,
And surely as he was the one who stated he was making us redundant on behalf of kate, he should have offered us support. money or no money it's called decency. I literally told simon she wouldn't pay him. So he shouldn't have been that suprised.

Begbies Traynor carried out the liquidation process of my company in 2023 and 2024. They outlined the various stages and milestones during the initial meeting and they answered all my queries. Corina Popovici executed the work including interaction with my accountant in a timely and professional manner. I am full of praise for her efforts and Begbies Traynor in general.

A big thanks to Mike Sharp and the whole team at Begbies Traynor. Not a brilliant task to undertake but they provided some really good support and walked us through each stage making it a lot easier to bring everything to a final conclusion.
