BTG Begbies Traynor Reviews 

We recently held our annual finance seminar with Begbies Traynor for the 3rd year.
Gary Lee has presented the red flag statistics which has always been very insightful.

It's disturbing, disappointing and annoying that Begbies Traynor, who were appointed by the courts since Aug/Sept 2023, have been 'dragging their feet' in progressing the CVA that all investors want. Whose interest are they working for? Certainly not FCP investors. It's seems only to line their pockets with fees. How can they justify this? We have nothing to prove.
The only prompt action they have taken is to breach GDPR rules by revealing all the investors details & the amount they invested. This is most likely not a mistake or error as they mentioned before that they would be sending out that information.

I am also a creditor at FCP and I share all of the concerns and criticism being levelled at BT by others here for the disgraceful and self serving way they have handled this issue. As has been mentioned they have dragged their feet while racking up huge fees at the creditors expense. Almost every email deals mainly with their own fees being agreed.

They took ages to release a CVA that will greatly help resolve this matter almost certainly to stay 'on the clock' as long as possible.

Like many others, I was also appalled when they sent out an email with every investors email on it and gave a cursory response to this Data Breach, which if nothing else was extremely incompetent and shows a lack of professionalism.

They present no interest in the people suffering at all. They should be checked out.

I am appalled at the way BT is handling matters with regard to Fortress. They seem to be putting obstacles in the way of this matter coming to a speedy conclusion...not to mention their exorbitant fees. I get the sense this is the primary reason they are involved in these dealings and the interest of the creditors are of secondary importance. I am simply not impressed with their performance...if there was zero rating this is what they would get from me.

I am an Investor with Fortress Capital, and I am so disappointed in the way in which BT is handling the case.

They have Breached Data Protection by sending out an email with all the investors email address copied in, and although they tried to recall it, I still have the email with everyone’s email address's.

They sent out information to the other investors which stated the amount of money I had invested, without my permission - which is another Data Breach.

They were rude to me via email, when I challenged them about the above, and brushed my concerns under the carpet.

They have shared the CVA with the Committee and are taking long to share it with the other investors - for no apparent reason!

They take ages to send correspondences to the investors, so we are left not knowing what is going on.

When they do make contact it’s to speak about THEIR fees!

They are meant to be working on behalf of the investors to retrieve their money back, however are not doing so.

The Courts should be made aware of the Power Dynamics which BT are using against less fortunate people.

There really needs to be an investigation completed on BT, as they are not being fair and taking long to release the CVA for our approval.

Frustrated and Disappointed!!!!

We have work with the Begbies Traynor Team for over 18 years. The teams proactive approach to projects and swift replies makes working with Begbies Traynor a pleasure.

I am a Fortress Capital creditor Begbie Traynor have been appointed by the court to administer this case their duty being to negotiate the best terms possible for creditors. I am totally disgusted by the way they are handling this case. Creditors have had just one update since the first meeting in October last year, what we have had is communication from them for increased fees to line their already very full coffers. The CVA proposal was submitted and approved by the credit committee however BT have been stalling and dragging their heels ever since while of course racking up huge fees, there is very little interest in actually helping us the creditors which they are supposed to be doing, makes me wonder what the courts would think if they knew about their greed and behaviour.
