I like Bear Comps, I like the prizes and the fact that a lot of their comps are low odds, so realistically a much better chance of winning! However, I feel like they're not very transparent... See more

I sent a postal entry on 14.05.23 per the details on the website for the GBP10,000 Tax Free Cash competition. However I never received my ticket number for this draw and I emailed them a few times regarding this, before the draw date on 21.05.23, but no reply or ticket number was received.
I also posted an entry for a competition in a nearby location on the same day, but I received a ticket number for this draw.
This leads me to question if postal entries are just disgarded and not entered into the competition. I believe that this Bear Competitions postal entry route is just false advertising and not a legitimate way of entering competitions.
Very good experience . Really enjoyed my prize and good to give back to charity.
I have done 2 purchases this week got no numbers not even on the payment page tried email was sent back as it did not exist as a future customer I think I will take my business elsewhere
Entered 3 postcards for 3 individual comps , none not one entered . Full details matching the account , hand written postcard , first class stamp , declaration accepting TandC written , sent soon as comp went live so considerable delivery times . Nothing entered and nothing in the entry list . Will be putting in a subject access request to prove they have them legally . Royal Mail don’t loose 100% of the post!!!
Sent in free entries 3 weeks prior to the house or 250k competition on the 12th March which were never registered. On the competition page the terms and conditions for free entries "Full information about free postal entries" are different to the terms and conditions link on the main home page. On the terms and conditions link from the home page it states that you also have to add your date of birth (3.10)(b)(II) and write on the postcard "I accept the terms and conditions"(3.10)(e). Very sneaky tactics to avoid free entries. Either way it doesn't matter as Owen won't enter free entries. Wouldn't respond to my emails and ignored my calls to discuss the terms and conditions. SCAM of a site that doesn't process free entries. For anyone thinking of sending a free entry save the postage as Owen won't bother entering them.
Owen - For a laugh, if you do process free entries, out of the 6999 entries exactly how many were free entries? (And don't use your generic reply of "hundreds" of free entries are entered)
I've sent emails a few times asking general questions over the past few weeks. Not once have I received a response. The last competiton said £49 for 24 hours only. Reality, this was on for a few days. Reset password and not received an email for several hours.
Won a competition recently and when contacting Bear, he was always quick to reply and followed through and what I asked.
Thanks again!
Just a decent comp site. Hasn't gone mad selling outrageous numbers of tickets. Offers great prizes at great odd and doesn't acrew customers over by slashing ticket prices in the last hours. My favourite site. Now if only I'd win something!!
I was awestruck when I found out I had won the competition. I couldn't believe it! A profound experience that is still sinking in. A big massive thank you to everyone at Bear competitions, in particular, Owen, who travelled down to see me at University, so it didn't cause me any inconvenience. I recommend everyone participate in these giveaways. It can be a great and life-changing opportunity.
I taught there advertising and website were well explained and developed and easy to use 👍
Giving 5 stars in the hope it brings me more luck!!
Such a great trustworthy competition and such great opportunities
Apparently a website just for people with lots of money. I don't, so posted off a few entries for competition to win a car, posted them 11 days prior to competition closing date yet I received no ticket numbers. I contacted the website by Facebook and text message. No reply. Guessing they don't care the gambling comission rules around a free entry route.
Happy to update my last review , as Bear competitions replied and advised me the results are displayed on their Facebook page, which is correct, my mistake. 5 stars so.
