Avoid this company like the Plague - crooked operators!!
Purchased an oven/ hob less than one year ago. Its supposed to be under manufacturer's warranty.
Within the one year warranty period, the glass door of the oven shattered on its own - probably due to shoddy production quality. Luckily no one in the house got injured.
I tried to contact this company to claim under the warranty. Discovered that the warranty is essentially a sham. The lady on the call said that the warranty covers only mechanical and electrical faults. Despite repeatedly asking, she would not define what this means and whether the glass breaking on the oven door would be covered under the "warranty".
She kept parroting that I can book an engineer call-out and the the engineer would decide whether the fault is covered under the warranty. If not, then they would charge me £120! Best of all - she says that in order to avoid the £120 charge - I can always purchase additional protection from these crooks!!

Warranty reg. no G3X 0002708
Oven broke within warranty period. That in itself isn't a problem - these things happen.
I've already had four engineers visits, who have all been unable to diagnose the problem. The oven cuts out with a bang, and the lights throughout the flat flicker - the last engineer said this was a clear safety risk, yet Baumatic keep sending people out to fiddle with it and tell me it's fixed.
I've had to call customer services dozens of times, I'm waiting in from work for a 5th time tomorrow for an engineer's visit, and every time I call they spend more time trying to flog me overpriced insurance than actually trying to sort their defective product.
