MISSING REFUND
Received a broken toilet seat lid back in January/February. No longer in stock so due a refund. Despite being told twice a cheque has been raised the refund has still not arrived. No replies to my emails any more. What has happened to Bathstore customer service?

Don't Bother go to B&Q
Ordered a radiator on 6/8/20. 3 weeks and 3 emails and one phone call later still no radiator, requested money back still waiting for refund, got rad from B&Q will never use again. You can't call e-mails take at least 2 days for a reply, they will blame Covid for their incompetence.

We purchased a new shower cubicle
We purchased a new shower cubicle, shower unit from Bathstore in 2013. Everyrhing was fitted by Bathstore. After 2 years use the shower which was the Metro Exposed Thermostatic Shower, unfortumately had problems with the valves we order 2 new valves. Everything ok until after another 18 months once again stopped functioning I rang bathstore the guarantee period had run out so we ordered a full secon shower unit. This week the cold water mechanism control knob has lost its thread and couldnt be repaired so we have now had to fit the 3rd replacement. The only reason we have stuck with the same shower is the fact that we didnt want to have to re tile. In effect 3 shower units in a matter of 7 years obviously there is a fault. The only positive is it works well but has a very short life. Has anyone else had similar problems with this unit

Really great products but beyond that Rebecca was so helpful - quick to respond, professional and friendly. I needed the delivery to arrive ASAP and she really did deliver ahead of schedule. Really pleased with the service and I'd recommend this company without a doubt.

Worst Customer Service experience ever!
Why does it have to be so hard to replace my cracked inset basin! The previous one was purchased from Bathstore, hence the need to trying and get a replacement, as the height of this basin is specific to bathstore products.
I can't call bathstore because they have no phone lines due to so-called 'covid-19 excuse', their email service is useless as a back pocket on a T-shirt. I've sent 3 emails in 1 week and still no response! No way of knowing if the basin they have online is 100% compatible with what I have! If I order and take my chances, I'm left with £25 postage charge plus 21 days delivery wait... and if the basin is not compatible. I need to pay £50 return fee! so potentially a waste of 21 days and £75 surcharge for a £100 basin! ! **Excellent work guys! Keep it up! **
No customer service and poor quality products
Ordered a replacement toilet seat as the previous one cracked at the hinges after just 2 years.
Replacement arrived broken, again where the hinges are located.
Tried ringing customer service but no one working there due to COVID! (Rubbish excuse).
Emailed customer service address but email address not recognised.
Phoned local store only to get same message that no one is working due to COVID.
Bathstore products are poor quality and over priced. Wish I had known this when buying our bathroom suite. Don't make the same mistake I did, please go to a reputable company instead.
Appalling customer service
I would highly recommend you shop somewhere else.
We had our bathroom designed from exact measurements. We ordered and everything seemed fine. Our bathroom arrived and the bath looked huge, so we measured it, it was a totally different size so I checked my paperwork & the drawing, neither of these measurements lined up. Went back in a and the bath was changed. New bath was delivered and the old one should have been collected, no they refused as it was too heavy....
We complained straight away told it would get sorted and then 2 weeks later we went into lockdown. This bath has now been sat in my hallway since February. Constant emails and nothing.
Go to fit the bathroom and discover the ‘designer’ has again got the measurements of the tray and shower screen wrong so they don’t go together. No fixings either. Tried to contact again. Nothing. We have had to now pay for another screen so I could have a usable bathroom.
I find it very worrying that your stand alone store has not opened. Your customer service hasn’t opened and when I rang another store (within Homebase) I was told that all the staff would be surprised if you ever opened any of your stores again...
Can someone actually care and get back to customers who have given you their custom. Seriously the worst customer service I have ever received.
Rubbish
I bought 2 bathrooms with white gloss units a few years ago and both now look dreadful as they’ve all gone yellow. The one which has sunlight directly in is far worse. I went back to the store and was told that they were now owned by Argos and they were not honouring any previous faults / complaints. So disappointing !
One star is too generous
One star is too generous! They delivered half our order, the driver had the full bathroom but drove away with the rest. Then we were given the wrong bath panel. After weeks of chasing, we simply were sent the wrong bath panel again, so now have 2 useless panels. The concealed cistern was missed off completely. We chased and received one, with no flush button. Again chasing continuously for weeks, still no flush button. We were delivered another cistern, a visible ceramic one, which is of no use to us. Customer services are unable or unwilling to be helpful. It has been months now and still no finished bathroom. I am very grateful I did not get Bathstore to fit the bathroom. Do not buy from here. It's just not worth the stress!
Buy cheap and you will buy twice
We installed a bathstore shower, basin and toilet plus separately a basin and toilet in the downstairs toilet 3 years ago.
The tap in the downstairs toilet broke after 2 years; the shower screen leaks and all of the chrome 'effect' has peeled from the shower unit. In addition, the chrome on the shower bar peeled off after less than a year.
As a result we are going to have to replace the whole lot because the service and quality is rubbish.
The only thing that they have going for them is the range of choice in styles and sizes - but be careful because that means you cannot replace in the same space as other manufacturers go with standard and more limited sizes.
Buy cheap and you will buy twice.

Bathstore installed my whole bathroom suite. The shower continues to leak and has caused structural damage. I tried to resolve but ‘in administration’ so original warranty is not worth paper it’s wrote on and will not be honoured.
Insurance And additional installers state it should never of been signed off. Faulty goods, incorrect drainage it was the worse decision we’ve made. GO SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
Customer service is shocking
Customer service is shocking. Considering most If not all the companies I have used recently are honouring an extended returns policy due to the current situation you would think Bathstore would also. But no! They delivered my items or shall I say dumped them outside my house on a pallet during lockdown but still expect you to check every single thing for damage within 30 days. I paid a lot of money for my bathroom suite and two of the items are damaged but they do not want to know!!
Will never shop with them again.

Brought a toilet from here and then got an email saying it was no longer available on the day it was supposed to be delivered. I’m not sure how an item that is out for delivery suddenly disappears! I’ve asked for a refund for the item and been told that a cheque will be with me within 28 days! What store issues cheques and why should I be left out of pocket for a month! I highly recommend that you stay a way from this place. This was my first order and definitely going to be my last

I placed this order on the 19th April. It was meant to be delivered by 7th May and with NO communication from bathstore my delivery had missing items. I had to contact them and they told me that they were waiting for more stock from the manufacturer and they would give me an update on the 8th June.
09:07 on 8th June I was told I wasn't getting the missing items. Obviously they knew this for sometime as they were able to get back to me so early on the day promised. 8 days later and they can't even tell me what I'm getting refunded for or when I'd receive it. Apparently it's with the 'relevant department'.
Worst thing is when I asked why it took so long to be told I wasn't getting my missing items I was told bathstore have 'no way of knowing the item is out of stock until the customer comes back to us'. Yes that is a genuine quote from an email sent to me.
I have now reached out to a financial adviser who has told me to use the chargebank scheme via my bank to my money back from Bathstores account.

Avoid !! You won’t get any refund ever
I ordered a tap on 5th April online but emailed to cancel order straight away . I received an email to say they had put it on hold to cancel . They still took my payment even although I emailed within a minute of placing the order.
I paid by debit card and have been emailing every few days but still no money back. I have had a few emails over the last few weeks saying cheque has been issued .
The consumer law states 30 days is maximum they can hold your money and it should be returned in the method it was paid . I am going to make a complaint to the ombudsman today .
I have mixed reviews...
I have mixed reviews regarding bathstore based on my experience.
I ordered a tap on 8th June 2020 and I immediately sent an email asking them to confirm when I could expect the item as their website stated for small items it'll be sent out as soon as it is available which is within 21 days.
I needed the tap urgently and I needed more clarification as 21 days seemed quite excessive.
During the lock down, their telephone lines have been switched off which made me worry, and then I came onto trustpilot to see the reviews which made me worry further as it seemed that nobody was getting their orders or that they were significantly late.
I emailed them again the next day as I hadn't heard back and still no reply. I also messaged them on instagram hoping I could speak to someone there, but they did not reply.
Later that day I decided to buy a different tap from Amazon as I could guarantee it would arrive on time. I then emailed Bathstore explaining that I'd like to cancel my order as nobody was responding to me.
I then received an email to say my order had been dispatched and to my surprise it arrived the following day!!
To sum up - the customer service is basically non existent which for a business like this is really poor as most people buying from here will most likely have contractors booked and therefore need to know what is happening with their orders. I think I was very lucky as my order did arrive, undamaged and within 2 days of ordering it - which is why I have given them 3 stars.
Please put your phone lines back on - even if its at a reduced service, your customers will appreciate just having someone to speak to!
