The teachers are great

Baselang is one of my best decisions. The core lesson sequence was definitely created to get a person using the language quickly. I have had great learning experiences with several instructors, and I love that your progress is noted and other instructors can pick up where you left off. Being able to work one-to-one with a live instructor has been an effective way to help me with conversational Spanish. I have been using Baselang for 7 weeks and have accomplished more than any other method I have tried in the past. I have had no problems with the site, the materials, or booking a lesson that works with my schedule.

I love the one on one interaction with the teachers. The lessons through Baselang are a bit slow to get through and are a bit frustrating for me to do on my own because I found they require a teacher to let you know you are on the right path. The scheduling interface is much, much better than in times past. I wish there were an easy way to do homework on my own on a specific topic through Baselang. I end up using other online options for this task.

I have had a great experience learning Spanish with Baselang school in Medellín. I started with online classes in January this year, which gave me enough knowledge to communicate and have conversations when I traveled to Colombia. There are lots of teachers from different countries that work different hours providing opportunities to schedule from early morning until late at night. This is perfect for learning while working or attending school.
I spent several weeks studying at the school in Medellín. The school is well organized, very flexible with hours and provides a variety of excellent teachers to work with. They offer different plans at different price points for a good price. They also have free delicious coffee. The managers are friendly, accommodating and always looking for ways to improve the experience. My journey learning Spanish has been exciting. Learning a new language in Colombia and online has been an amazing experience. They offer a free first day to check out the school, I would highly recommend checking them out if you are interested in learning Spanish. I'm excited to return the next time I'm in Medellín.

I don't like it when the teacher is not ready on the class, some teachers took 2-3 minutes to open the file for the lessons and also some teachers say goodbye 7 or 6 minutes early which I know is 5minutes

Excellent instructors and materials, the convenience of being able to take a class any time you have availability, and the ability to cancel without penalty if an emergency/conflict arises makes Baselang a superior Spanish language learning platform!

This is an amazing platform. I hop on BaseLang and take a lesson when it is convenient for me and try a new teacher or use one that I have connected well with in the past. I use the platform at all times of the day. About half of my lessons I work on conversation in order to get more comfortable speaking with and listening to native speakers. The other half I spend on a thorough curriculum that is complementing what I have learned in the past. I think the flexibility of scheduling, the ability to look back at all of my teachers' notes taken during my classes, the ability to write notes to myself about the quality of a teacher-all of these things make this platform a model for future language instruction.

I've been taking classes with BaseLang for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Their curriculum is comprehensive, and the vast majority of teachers I've worked with have been excellent—engaging, knowledgeable, and supportive. On the rare occasions I've needed to contact customer service, they've always responded quickly and helpfully. Highly recommend!

I'm currently attending in person BaseLang Medellin in Medellin, Colombia. The school is based in the beautiful Laureles neighborhood of Medellin and it's been a phenomenal experience. The entire team are some of the nicest people I've ever met and the teachers are bilingual and warm, personable and really know their Spanish. I'm on my 4th week and very happy and satisfied with my decision to attend. 5 Stars all day!

The teachers are great and the ability to choose between conversations, core lessons or electives or anything else you might want to do is really good.
The 24/7 service is ideal and the process so far, has been an enjoyable one.

The teachers are incredible. Lola Alvizua is so patient and helps me understand grammar and vocabulary as we progress through the lessons.

I have been using Baselang for 3 months and so far it has been very helpful in helping me to improve my Spanish. There a re a lot of things Baselang does not tell you though in terms of moving through the curriculum and how the tutors keep track of your progress. Also, there hundreds of tutors, but thus far I have only found a couple who teach in a way where I truly feel comfortable and that distinguishes itself from classroom learning.

I greatly appreciate the variety and quality of instructors provided. The flexibility and responsiveness of the service has been excellent. It is easy to maintain resolve with such a great service.

I enrolled en a program called Real World Medellin (1:1 in-person classes up to 1 hour per day and unlimited online classes). They also offer teacher-led group sessions twice a day and a language exchange session with locals on Fridays. I love the energy of this place!!! The teachers are great, as are the students, coordinators, and baristas. Each teacher records your progress after each class, so even if you change teachers, you'll know how far you've come. I had a quick look at the progress reports and was surprised at how detailed they were. This is my first language school experience here, so I can't compare it to other schools, but I'm so glad I found this place. I plan to continue taking classes online after I return to the United States.

Every employee at the school is friendly and kind. The environment is welcoming and fun. The teachers are knowledgeable and very engaged. It is a great learning environment.
