Barnsdale’s have provided me with invaluable advice on a complex property matter. I have found them to be extremely knowledgeable and highly professional throughout our negotiations and have no hesitation in recommending or indeed using Barnsdale’s again on future property matters.

They are the shoddiest, laziest, most incompetent FM company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

The FM Staff are very friendly and helpful,
Between the 3 Engineers that attend they are always professional and there's nothing much they can't do, able to sort out any issues on site between them in a timely manner.

Trust me when I say a 0 wouldn’t even be good enough for this awful company. They always pass the book for repairs send out untrained repair workers that do shabby jobs if and when they eventually get round to it and expect people to live in their properties in damp and black mould that is dangerous to health and left my daughter rushed to hospital but still don’t want to own up to it being their fault passing the book again…. DON NOT USE!!!

We live in a semi secure community and have had considerable problems with our management company year after year. Our Landlord switched to Barnsdales five months ago and the change for the better has been amazing. From the start Barnsdales engaged with the residents association and held an open day for property owners. We now get regular communications, quick response to questions and problems solved immediately where possible. They are highly visible both at Director level and our local agent who is so efficient. There is not only a trust in them but we are seeing action on matters that have been left unattended for months. Thus our community is functioning as it should do. Furthermore, planning is taken place for the future by involving owners to improve our community. Cannot recommend highlyn enough.

The staff at Barnsdales were great from the start! They have been the best estate agents I have rented through. Any reported issues were dealt with and repaired quickly. Gemma was always helpful and friendly when I spoke to her, which made me feel that she cared about me as a tenant, as well as the property.

The process of leaving the property was easy. Again, Gemma was great! She was flexible to support me with vacating the property and ensuring I received my deposit.

I would highly recommend using barnsdales, and will be using them if I ever need them in the future!

I have found Barnsdales and in particular Louise Ballinger very efficient and extremely helpful. Louise reacts to every email and phone call immediately. She is always polite and cheerful and nothing is too much trouble for her. This is such a refreshing change from the previous company I had to deal with. Thank you Louise.

Barnsdales manage an estate where I have a holiday home and I am very happy with their services. They’re highly professional with a proactive approach and good communication.

Barnsdales have given me excellent advice on my properties in Mansfield, Lincoln and Gainsborough, they have also secured me some excellent tenants.

They have also helped with some complex and challenging repairs which they have resolved quickly and cost effectively where others have failed!

I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Was good at negotiating a fair price and fair terms even I purchased. Many issues that cropped up in the buying process well, ensured hurdles were overcome professionally, very solution focused.

Vetted tenants when renting property, found tenants in a satisfactory time and is managing the tenant process well.

Good credit control and prompt submission of accounts to landlord. Surveyor to hand when relevant issues require resolution.

Barnsdales failings:

- Negligent Misrepresentation in their contract claiming to be a member of the Property Ombudsman when they are not.
- Our building manager disappeared one month into the contract. Barnsdales wanted £50 to meet and explain how our building would then be managed.
- No response to a roof leak, despite numerous phone calls and emails. We had to resolve ourselves.
- Falsely claimed to have made contractually stipulated 2 site inspections.
- Provided false legal advice on a directorship claim.
- Mismanagement of documentation. Barnsdales claimed they did not have documentation that had been provided to them.
- Mismanagement of Account. Barnsdales took six months to provide bank statements.
- Failure to collect Service Charges or inform us that they had not been collected.
- Payment for unattended fire inspection that was kept secret for over 4 months.
- Overpayment of Electricity Bills amounting to over £300 that we had to resolve.

Doing ok for now .slight update they now been dismissed from the building they were serving thank God ill never have to talk to their highly intelligent staff again (well if you consider the intelligence of a small puppy smart)
