Its completely useless if you use Apple Pay to pay for everything as its not compatible. I rang them and asked when Apple Pay might be added but they have no timescale. I had ordered this Amazon Prime Barclaycard as my main credit card, to use but that wont be happening now. I cant believe Barclaycard are associated with something that's so behind the times

Speaking to someone is hard
Speaking to someone is hard endless pick this number for this or that, different people tell you different things. Just trying to see my recent transaction on there new system that comes into place on the 19/8/26 seems to be impossible, How can no one help or service become so poor it's been good in the past I've been trying to get some help for weeks but getting know where. Could be time to go else where well done Barclays.

Easy and quick to apply for credit card…
Easy and quick to apply for credit card online. Got accepted straight away with a good credit limit. I got the card to collect more avios points . Card has got lost in the post so contacted customer service and they got it sorted straight away and organised another. Hope to receive my card in the next few days

Superb banking service at every stage and on every level
I have been banking with Barclays over 48 years; their staff superb interpersonal skills, professionalism and respectful attitude at every stage and on every level of the service are the main reason for the above.
My local branch is always welcoming, and if I may have any questions gladly respond with detailed explanations.

Horrific app
Horrific app. Wont allow me to set up a direct debit without error messages, even tried setting it up for the barclaycard app with the barclays account linked in the same app and still go an error..
Tried website log in, email address not recognized and 16 digit card no. "Doesnt exist!" ? Had to call them ... Awful experience.

Gives credit card but you can not spent money
So third class and cheap service, they give you credit card but you can not spent your money. The customer service awful, first verify on automated call then a cheap customer service instant attend your call ask for verification name, age, card number, then they said our system is down and we need to forward your call to another person and start asking you bunch of question even these question does not ask a the time of apply. how much mortage you have, how much loan you have, what is your complete address, what will you next age, where you will spending that money, seriously? what is your direct debit bank and details , what your card expiry what amount you set for pay. so ridiculous
