I signed up at the end of 2019 and didn't really use it right away. WIth Covid hitting, it seemed like a waste. However, a couple of months ago I just started getting all of these mesages and found two groups to play with locally here and there. I had to hide my profile for now to stop the messages since we are busy. Good luck to everyone out there getting back on stage!

Super great resource material for professionals and novice alike, to find other bands, to find like minded musicians. i highly recommend this site for any budding and pros out there.

ive sent over 30 messages out to "active" and supposedly new profiles in the last year and have not received a single response... seems a bit useless to me... law of average would dictate that id get at least one response if the site were legit or if it is then inactive profiles were removed

I was only looking and stopped at pay now did not pay did not join BUT my profile was on bandmix without my knowledge or permission. I joined and found many profiles on site are derelict they do not exist people have cancelled long ago but their profiles are still on bandmix. The site is a fraud full of non existent profiles that bandmix does not remove even when people quit.

The website is a little clunky, and I think paying is the only way to communicate (unless you put an email address in your free profile, wink wink), but overall this is a great site for connecting with local musicians.

My band True Soul has been together about 13 years. After Covid 19, several members were reluctant to continue. Thanks to Bandmix, we've been able to fill in the blanks and to become an even tighter unit with dedicated, multitalented musicians.

This site worked well for me! I quickly found a great sax player for our band! I would give 5 stars but I found there were only a handful of active accounts for what I was looking for. This is probably not the fault of the site but rather the area I’m in.

Easy as. Its a good way to find fellow musicians.

Would not use again, closed my account and the company keep charging you for months after and do not make it easy to stop the payments. Stay clear.

Good experience using this website. I've played drums for over 20 years and in a bunch of different bands. All of which were constantly losing players and looking for guys to fill in. Wish we had a service like this back in the day. Easy to find people and use the app.

This is a really useful resource for musos. I had a good experience and got set up with my current band because of this site. Just wanted to drop bandmix a line so they can keep helping others. Cheers.

The site works ok, but support is very unresponsive. I have one video that the link will not work despite creating it more than once. Strangely enough the error occurs on my public profile, but if I am logged into my account it will play from the BandMix activity page for members. I have several videos and this is the only one that will not play properly. I have emailed support , filled out the support contact page on the site, called and left 2 messages, but still no response. Today I called and got the after hours support and they took and gave her a brief description of my issue, name, email, and phone number. I still have not a response.

I subscribed for 3 months just to try it out. After the 3 months they billed me for another 3 months. When I subscribed there was no indication that it would be auto renewable.
I was shocked, now I lost my money.
The company is deceptive and willing to cheat musicians who don't have a lot of money to begin with.

Worked brilliantly! Site is super easy to use and allowed me to connect with some mates into the same type of tunes. Recommend bandmix.

It's disappointing when you contact people posted on here but they don't have the decency to respond back however that shows the type of person they are so at least you haven't waisted any time on them

These crooked shameless slimeballs...I always make sure not to select recurring payments yet these shady scumbags go and change my selection and charge me probably hoping I wont notice. I will make my final departure from this "service" subscription and report them to every party I can find.

Bought a subscription. Seems like a great site but I believe they are making it look like old accounts are still active to make it look like theres more musicians.

This is a really good resource for musicians. Easy to navigate and use. Yeah, it costs a couple bucks to contact others, but you can either try to workaround it or just pay it - it's not much. Made some good connections on here and formed the current group I play out with. I'll use it again in the future.
