AVOID! AVOID if you are NOT RESIDENT IN SPAIN!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

AVOID!AVOID!! I went to Banca Mars Marbella with a cheque of 18.54 euro to collect cash.BAD SURPRISE!😡😡😡😡The refused to pay me the money for the reason that I am not resident ( I will attach a screenshot by the end where is specified that a no resident can collect a cheque even if doesn't have NIE & Spanish bank account).On top of that, they refused to talk with exchange office who had provided the cheque of 18.54 euro. I left and when I came back later, they had the nerve to tell the exchange office that DIDN'T PRESENT ANY DOCUMENT, despite showing them my passport ( EU citizen) 😡😡😡😡😡😡 The way that they treated me made me feel like I am doing something not right 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 The audacity to say that I didn't present any document was really SHOCKING!!!!!I have even been told to leave, despite " politely voice"😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Never been treated like this in any bank whenever I travelled!!!!It doesn't allow me here to download the screenshot, but anyway is available on Google for anyone who's not Spanish resident!!!

“Poor Service Standards and No Client Focus”

After more than 5 years as a loyal customer, my experience with Banca March has been deeply disappointing.

The level of service I received was far below what any business client should expect. My business credit card took 6 weeks to arrive, causing serious operational disruption and avoidable losses. My private credit card also took 4 weeks—clearly not an isolated case, but part of a broader pattern.

Despite repeated complaints to both the Cala d’Or and Palma – Sant Miquel branches, no effective support or solution was provided.

What I found particularly unacceptable was receiving a reminder—personally issued by the bank director—for a €2 overdraft, while my business account generates approximately €200,000 in annual income and I have been a customer for over 5 years.

Looking at Trustpilot, I can see I am not alone. With a rating of around 1.9, this reflects what appears to be a consistently poor level of service.

In contrast, my own company maintains a TrustScore of 4.8, based on very high service standards and customer focus. This is exactly the level of professionalism I expect from a banking partner.

My new bank delivered a credit card within 4 days and provided a generous credit line within one week—efficient and reliable.

I have completely lost confidence in Banca March and cannot recommend this bank to business clients.

Nach über 5 Jahren als treuer Kunde bin ich von meiner Erfahrung mit der Banca March sehr enttäuscht.

Der Service liegt weit unter dem, was man als Geschäftskunde erwarten darf. Meine Firmenkreditkarte benötigte 6 Wochen, was zu erheblichen Problemen und vermeidbaren Verlusten führte. Auch meine private Kreditkarte brauchte 4 Wochen – das ist kein Einzelfall, sondern offensichtlich ein strukturelles Problem.

Trotz mehrfacher Beschwerden in den Filialen Cala d’Or und Palma – Sant Miquel gab es keinerlei Unterstützung oder Lösung.

Besonders inakzeptabel war für mich eine Mahnung über 2 €, persönlich vom Bankdirektor verschickt – bei einem jährlichen Einkommen von ca. 200.000 € über dieses Geschäftskonto und nach über 5 Jahren als Kunde.

Ein Blick auf Trustpilot zeigt, dass ich mit dieser Erfahrung nicht allein bin. Eine Bewertung von rund 1,9 spricht für sich und deutet auf ein grundsätzliches Problem im Service hin.

Mein eigenes Unternehmen hat einen TrustScore von 4,8, basierend auf sehr hohen Qualitäts- und Serviceansprüchen – genau das erwarte ich auch von einer Bank.

Meine neue Bank hat innerhalb von 4 Tagen eine Kreditkarte geliefert und innerhalb einer Woche problemlos eine großzügige Kreditlinie bereitgestellt.

Ich habe jegliches Vertrauen in die Banca March verloren und kann diese Bank Geschäftskunden nicht empfehlen.

Después de más de 5 años como cliente, mi experiencia con Banca March ha sido muy decepcionante.

El nivel de servicio está muy por debajo de lo que debería esperar cualquier cliente empresarial. Mi tarjeta de empresa tardó 6 semanas en llegar, causando problemas importantes y pérdidas evitables. Mi tarjeta personal también tardó 4 semanas, lo que demuestra que no es un caso aislado, sino un problema estructural.

A pesar de múltiples reclamaciones en las oficinas de Cala d’Or y Palma – Sant Miquel, no recibí ninguna solución ni apoyo.

Lo más inaceptable fue recibir un aviso por un descubierto de 2 €, enviado personalmente por el director del banco, mientras mi cuenta genera aproximadamente 200.000 € anuales y llevo más de 5 años como cliente.

Al revisar Trustpilot, queda claro que no soy el único. Una puntuación de alrededor de 1,9 indica un nivel de servicio consistentemente bajo.

Mi propia empresa tiene un TrustScore de 4,8, basado en estándares muy altos de calidad y atención al cliente—exactamente lo que espero de un banco.

En cambio, mi nuevo banco entregó una tarjeta en 4 días y concedió una línea de crédito generosa en una semana sin ningún problema.

He perdido completamente la confianza en Banca March y no puedo recomendar este banco a empresas.
