Commercial quality but disposable

Our catering service opted for the BAMIX Gastro 300 for its ability to process sauces as well as its reputed reliability and 'lifetime motor warranty'. After 3-years of use the motor failed, but, there is no way to contact BAMIX, either their Swiss parent or their US distributor. No phone number, only an e-mail that has been ignored for a month.

We are a business and expect 'professional' items to be repairable, not disposable.

We are changing to true commercial immersion mixers that can be found online for much less than Bamix.

Customer service is abysmal

Customer service is abysmal. If you have an issue with your purchase there is absolutely no one to contact or speak to. Sending email inquiries to the company goes no where.

I requested a return label for a product that I would like to exchange. It has been over 2 months and I still have not received a response.

Will never buy anything from this company again.

Terrible Product Quality and Customer Service

Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. I can only speak to the US store, but I would highly suggest NOT SPENDING YOUR MONEY ON BAMIX.

I'd heard so many good things from a trusted source about Bamix products and finally made the investment in the Pro-3 NSF, top of the line. I first noticed that it couldn't properly emulsify a 128oz batch of cream and reached out to customer service for assistance on best practices/ blade attachments.. no response.. reached out again.. no response. This was strange, as they *did* respond to an initial question I had when I first received the unit. But as soon as I had an actual issue.. nothing.

This week, the whole unit basically fell apart as I was blending a very small batch of a different cream with a terrible burning smell from the motor. It now sounds like everything is loose inside the plastic base. This was maybe my 5th time using it. Had to finish the job with a $30 immersion blender I had from Amazon (which btw, handled it with no problems).

Reached out to customer service through their website 5 days ago and still no response. I just emailed their "us service b2c @ bamix.com" email directly and will see if I hear back, but not getting my hopes up after reading the other reviews. Product quality is terrible and customer service has been even worse.

A disgraceful experience with Bamix

A disgraceful experience with Bamix – customer ignored, problem dismissed

What started as a fantastic purchase quickly turned into a nightmare after just three months. The immersion blender began producing an unbearable, screeching noise, rendering it practically unusable. What followed was an absurd series of failed attempts by Bamix to provide a proper solution. Three times we sent the product in for repair—three times it came back without the issue being resolved. Their response? The defect was dismissed as “not serious enough,” and further repairs were outright refused.

Only after involving a lawyer did Bamix finally acknowledge us, but their so-called solution was an insult: a second-hand blender, visibly damaged, incomplete, and even with food residue still on the blades. This was the final straw. We demanded a full refund—because after such disgraceful treatment, trust in the brand was completely shattered.

Zero stars for USA order
I placed an order on 1/25. Order was supposed to ship in 7-10 days but has not. I tried emailing and the email was undeliverable; I used the support at my bamix address. I tried calling; nobody picks up and then I'm disconnected. No way to get a status update, now way to cancel the order. They charged my credit card the day I ordered. Avoid this company, at least for orders in the USA.

UPDATE: I reached out to Bamix Switzerland (emailed online at bamix dot ch and used the contact form on bamix.ch-pages-contact. After 2 weeks (1 month from my original order) it looks like this will finally be resolved and part of my order will be shipped. However, I still cannot reach anyone in the US. Unless you really want their product and want to play the same game, I'd avoid ordering from the US.

mybamix.com doesn't respond to inquires. I placed an order, received order confirmation, then just crickets. Haven't received the products. No response to emails.
Sent an email to bamix.com asking whether or not mybamix.com is legitimate. Too soon for a response from bamix.com

Extremely Disappointed with Bamix

Extremely Disappointed with Bamix – Avoid Their Products at All Costs!

I can't express how frustrated I am with Bamix. I purchased one of their professional hand blenders, which was incredibly expensive, only to have it break down within the warranty period. Thinking I was covered under their so-called "warranty," I sent the unit in for repairs, expecting a hassle-free resolution.

To my shock, they charged me €110 for the repairs, claiming this was somehow justified despite the product being within warranty. What’s even more outrageous is that their warranty period for a “professional-grade” product is only ONE YEAR. For a company that markets itself as producing high-end kitchen equipment, this is an absolute joke.

A warranty is meant to provide customers peace of mind, not serve as a trap for hidden costs. The lack of transparency and their unwillingness to stand behind their product is appalling. I’ve worked with many brands in my professional capacity, and Bamix has by far been the most disappointing.

If you're considering Bamix for your kitchen or cooking studio, save yourself the headache and invest in a brand that actually cares about quality and customer service. This experience has left me deeply regretful of ever trusting them.

I ordered an accessory from Bamix 24…

I ordered an accessory from Bamix 24 days ago and never received it. Took several tries and days to get in touch with their customer service which they just refunded my money of item which was never sent for some reason they didn't say, but kept my money I paid for shipping which was never sent so they should have returned it also. I will never buy anything from them again and their customer service is lousy.

Good luck getting Bamix to honor repair warranty (US)

My Bamix immersion blender was about 9 old, occasional home use. The motor suddenly went sluggish on both speeds (not dropped or otherwise misused).
Shipped with insurance to Cinq in New Albany, IN per Bamix customer service. Am unable to get a response from either the US repair center (Cinq) or Bamix customer service. I'll update this review if there is any progress.
Very disappointed and hoping to spare anyone similar let down after spending $200-400. I realize 9 years might be a reasonable life span, however, it's also reasonable to expect a company to honor their "lifetime warranty" promise.

I sent my Bamix in for repair over a year ago and have still not received it back! When I call costumer service to said they lost my machine but will replace it with another one, but still never received anything. This company is terrible, never buy a Bamix and a class action suit should be taken against them, this is not right since they are taking your money and running with it.

Awful customer service!! I have contacted Bamix numerous times to ask for help and advice on the product. The machine is excellent, but the customer service is less than dreadful. Disgraceful service. Not one of my emails have been responded too

Do not order from Bamix in Australia…

Do not order from Bamix in Australia also known as DKSH Lifestyle & Household. Ordered incorrect model Bamix and wanted to exchange for upgrade. Phoned and was told NO Exchanges and I should have trawled through their Terms & Conditions to find that out. Nothing in the Cart or on the product at purchase warning that this was their terms as you see on many sites or if you went into a store - there would be a large sign at checkout 'WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES'. Terrible experience!

I bought (Through microspot.ch) an…

I bought (Through microspot.ch) an expensive BAMIX hand mixer which is marketed as its GASTRO200 line and it cannot blend properly a simple water/flour mix. I had to ship it back twice to microspot/bamix as they are refusing to refund me, The first time they said they fixed it and the second time they said there was nothing wrong. I have just lost 170chf because they refuse to replace it or refund my money. At this point I want a full refund with all of the aggravation. They said in there terms and conditions I cannot ask for a refund if I’m unsatisfied if it can be repaired ... in this case they say there is nothing wrong with it.. really horrible after sale service. I will not buy from them again. I expected more from BAMIX and microspot... bad marketing and service from both companies. I’ve now spent another 200chf on another hand mixer.
