False advertisement
got my baby a Barcelona dropside cotbed, as stated it is meant to come with mattress.. We had to wait a couple of weeks for the bedroom to be plastered. Got it out - no mattress. I have 5weeks to go I'm so angry they have no number to ring and haven't emailed me back :( so sad

we ordered a Motorola Monitor for our new arrival. There is a fault with the monitor and we have been trying to get it returned for months. We have sent emails, left messages and still no one can be bothered to get back in touch. If we don't receive contact from them shortly we will be taking this complaint to the next stage. We are both busy parents and these cowboys are pushing us to our limits. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

I bought a Mountain a Buggy Duet from Bambino Direct in April in readiness for the arrival of my twins. Delivery was quick and completely in accordance with the date I was given.
In June I broke one of the parts (my fault, not a fault of the product at all) and the customer service and assistance I received from Bambino Direct in resolving the issue has been second to none - problem solved very quickly and with a great calm and pleasant approach that was very much welcomed by a distressed and stressed new mummy! Can't thank the store enough and would definitely use again - thankyou!
From Good to terrible to very happy
So we ordered a bunch of furniture and accessories from Bambino Direct earlier last year and everything went reasonably well. Unfortunately when we had to return one of the cameras the experience and customer support we received was absolutely appalling and dragged on for months. Well we then needed to buy a replacement as it took so long and changed our order to a Car seat. This then was a joke trying to get it supplied UNTIL Leanne from directmum.co.uk got in touch to explain and notify me that they had bought Bambino direct. From there on the service was fantastic, regular updates and prompt order and delivery of the item at the special price we were originally offered. Being in sales myself and someone that appreciates customer care, this should have been a 1 star or even a zero. The fact that directmum.co.uk have bought what appears to have been declining business, certainly from a service perspective, and invested some much time and effort means I feel they should be given the benefit of the doubt for the future. Best of luck guys

I bought the twin maclaren triumph it is fantastic twin stroller it very light and easy to push and I can go with this twin stroller every where coz it is very narrow so I can easily go in any shop. Hugh recommended. Thank you. Sid

My mum ordered my rocking stand from here as the price was very reasonable and it assures a fast delivery! Well we most certainly haven't received the product and are in the process of cancelling our order! After waiting a few months for the product to arrive, the customer service team have told us the product isn't due back in until June! They should of told us this in the first place! When we emailed them a few weeks ago to ask where our order was they said it had already been dispatched to their independent delivery service! If it's with their delivery service why are they now telling me it's not due back in stock until June! I hope we don't have the same trouble cancelling the order like others have and will be ordering from mothercare where I know I can get the best quality product without being messed around! Would never recommend this site to anyone!

Terrible customer service
I placed an order for a stroller on the website, it was down as in stock when I purchased, shortly after payment for the order they emailed that there was a "problem" with my card payment and to contact my card issuer, I did this and there was no problem with my card. I then rang bambino direct and they said that in the intervening period someone else had purchased my item and it was no longer in stock! Clearly they created this "problem" with my card to cover for the lack of stock.
I read plenty of reviews of this company and ignored the bad ones as the price was cheap, never again, I have now placed a (successful) order with kiddicare....should have paid the £8 extra and gone there in the first place, never again! Avoid at all costs!

Honestly, we found this site just by chance, while googling the buggy we wanted (the new loola) and it was cheapest by far here. The buggy itself is fantastic. And the service and communication was fantastic. Hopefully this is the last stroller we will have to buy but I will definitely be recommending bambino direct to all of my friends and family. Cant fault a single thing! Thanks :)
The worst customer service I have ever experienced!
My mother in law bought me a Graco Stadium duo pushchair at the end of August last year for the arrival of our second baby in November and to use with our 2 year old daughter. I had bought products from bambino direct before and was happy with the service and price so decided to buy the pushchair from there. On the arrival of our son I had only used the pushchair a handful of times before the pushchair broke. When using the pushchair I reclined the front seat to allow my daughter to sleep and the seat was then stuck in the recline position. I phoned bambino direct to report this towards the end of January. Over a week later on 3/2/14 I received an e mail stating my return request had been approved. After a very long wait and numerous phone calls and e mails trying to chase what was happening the pushchair was finally collected on 27/2/14 after already being without the use of a pushchair for over a month. I rang bambino direct as in previous telephone conversations they had mentioned the loan of a double puschair whilst mine was being fixed for a deposit of £20. The deposit was taken and I was sent an email confirmation confirming the delivery of a Phil and Teds Verve on 6/3/14. A delivery was made and I opened it up only to find my Graco pushchair still broken! I rang bambino direct to be told that Graco had tested it to find no fault. Graco were led to believe it was the opening and closing of the pushchair that was faulty despite me sending photos of the fault and a clear description to bambino direct. I was then told that it could be up to another 28 days for them to fix the puschair and someone would contact me to arrange a pick up of the pushchair. I enquired as to where the Phil and Teds replacement was only to be told that they had given this to another customer and they had no other double buggies available! By this point I was fuming at the poor customer service I had received and how long this matter was dragging on. I requested to speak with a manager and spoke to Asif, I explained how disappointed I was with the service and explained how difficult it was to have two small children and not have a pushchair for over a month and he told me that it could be up to another month without one. I asked for a refund but Asif said that they had to try and fix it first. You had the opportunity to fix the item when it was collected the first time round. I was told the faulty graco pushchair would be collected on 10/03/14, I waited in all day for yet again no body to come and collect the pushchair! I have now been told 13/3/14, but I won't hold my breath!
Looking into this I am entitled to a refund under the Sale of Goods Act if a product is faulty. This matter has been a complete farce and the customer service has been appalling.
I simply cannot waste my precious maternity leave waiting for your company to send this item back and forth. My children will not be house bound when we are coming into Spring.
I will not be purchasing anything from bambino direct again and have advised all my friends and family to do the same.

I ordered an oyster buggy and was firstly told would arrive 20th feb then this was postponed to 28th feb the then 14th March and now its been postponed to the 25 Mar.
I cannot believe how long I am having to wait.
I keep checking my emails and just expecting another email to say a new delivery date.

Poor after sales when things go wrong
BT Video Baby Monitor 1000 stopped working after 4 months use, well within the 1 year warranty. For an item that I consider essential, especially as our 3 month old had just had a round of vaccinations and therefore we were very anxious to be able to monitor him during his sleep, I was hoping to get a service similar to that when buying direct from Amazon - a replacement unit being immediately dispatched and a collection of the faulty unit arranged at no charge. However, after contacting Bambino Direct I was informed that I have to return the item at my expense (not a cheap exercise when you have to also insure it during transit) and after that it would be reviewed and, as it failed outside of 28 days, would be returned to BT for repair. This could take anything up to 28 days, with no guarantee on how long it would be. This is the bare minimum as required by law for distance selling and consumer rights, so I would rate the after sales customer service as poor, the bare minimum does not count as good customer service. In contrast, I took the baby monitor into Mothercare, whom I had spent money with in the past for furniture and prams, etc, but did not buy this item from. I explained my predicament and they were more than happy to exchange the item there and then - that is what I would call excellent customer service. So if buying something that you consider an essential item, do not buy it from here. Buy it from somewhere that you can get a good customer after sales service should things go wrong, something to be said for bricks and mortar shops in situations like this.

Ordered all my sons new monsters inc bedroom stuff was half the price of anywhere else eBay Argos etc then within an hour had a dispatch email with tracking info then was delivered the next day emails through out process keeping me up to date very happy will defo use again
