Baby Safety Hazzard

I purchased a porta cot from Babyhood Woodridge and after only three uses the plastic mechanism that controls the opening snapped. This created a serious safety risk for my 3‑month‑old baby. When I returned the product, fully expecting a replacement for what was clearly a faulty and unsafe item, I was told it was “owner misuse.”

That response was unacceptable. A baby product should not fail after three uses, and dismissing a clear safety hazard instead of taking responsibility is extremely poor customer service. They are quick to take your money and praise their products, but when something goes wrong, they offer no support and no accountability.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to shop elsewhere.

Scammers

I ordered a mattress for my bassinet from Babyhood, making sure to double-check the measurements for my order. Unfortunately, it took over three weeks for it to arrive, and during the Christmas period, I couldn't reach anyone for assistance. When it finally came, I found the mattress was slightly too small. Since the package was unopened, I immediately emailed them to request a return and refund, but they refused.

I called and spoke to Zoe, who explained that this was part of their policy. Given that I'm due to give birth in two days, I asked if an exchange could be arranged, and she assured me someone would follow up. However, within minutes, I received an email stating they would not process an exchange. This has been extremely disappointing throughout this process.

Considering the industry they’re in, I expected more understanding and support for mothers, but instead, I feel as though they’ve shown complete disregard and are unwilling to accommodate at all. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I will be reporting them to consumer protection.

Stay away from these scammers!

Avoid babyhood and their branded stroller

This review is on babyhood and their own babyhood branded stroller. Do yourself a favour and avoid! Customer service is extremely poor. They will leave you stuck with products that they refuse to take back even if it's not change of mind. Product is sub-par quality for an exhorbitant price for the quality of item you receive. Trust the growing negative reviews of this company from others on a diff well known review site... I wish I had!
