BEST AVIRA 2025

I have been using Avira Antivirus for a while, and I am very satisfied with the experience. The program runs smoothly in the background without slowing down my computer, and the scans are fast and reliable. I especially appreciate the clean and easy-to-use interface, which makes it simple to check my system status and manage security settings.
Avira has done a great job with real time protection, I feel confident that my device is secure from viruses, malware, and online threats. I also like the regular updates, which keep everything up to date without interruptions. Overall, Avira offers excellent performance, strong protection, and a very user-friendly design. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for dependable antivirus software.

Effective performance

Avira prime's overall performance is excellent whilst having minimum negative effect upon computer performance. My comments are based upon my return to Avira having experienced the use of other products

All by myself

To be honest, the product works just fine. Really, really good stuff.
I haven't had any problems for 10-12 years or so.
Until I made a horrible, horrible mistake:
I changed tel.nr but forgot to change it with Avira.
And I cannot receive support as I cannot log in.
And I cannot log in because the verification code for logging in goes to a number that nobody has any longer (since I have a new one).
And I cannot log in without the code.
Every browser asks for this code.

So, then you ask for help .... or so you thought.
You can't, because you need to log in.
If you do not log in there is …
No email
No tel.nr
No answers on Messenger
No nothing
They can't be reached.

This log in thing is a problem for the majority of people who ask for help on Avira's Facebook page.
So what do they do?
They send links to these good people so they can get help (if you can log in that is and, you know, they can't)

One guy wrote this:
Amazingly, for an IT company, the only way to talk to you about my log in problem is.....to log in !!!
How did they answer him?
Yeah, you guessed it - with a link where you need to log in.
(and with 100% certainty - Avira will answer this my text with a supportlink ..... where I need to log in)

So, what do I want to say to you all out there thinking about buying Avira stuff?

The product, the anti virus is really good
You will never ever interact with a human - just AI
If you need some help?
Nah, you're on your own.

Impossible to repair or uninstall

Impossible to repair or uninstall, All files require "administrator" priviledges. I am the single user and administrator. 12 years pre retirement as software support manager with local "niche" software house. None of my usual tricks will touch it

Been advised that some security software may cause this. As I have this software maybe the problem is their's not yours.
