Asked the woman at the desk does the bus go to a certain place, she said yes go to the first bus outside (only bus outside). Anyways got in and the woman driver with the tight haircut and the rats tail start screaming at the woman sitting behind me for not wearing a mask dispite half the bus not having one on. We then reached the airport, miles past where I was supposed to be. I went up and politely asked does she stop at my stop, she began screaming at me saying this is the airport, I told her I can see we're at the airport to which she start screaming at me. Another passagenger then approached her for assistance to which he was screamed at and his ticket taken from him and crumpled up. Appalling service, spent 20euro on tickets to go to somewhere I didn't want to go and have to pay more now to get where I want to go. Be very cautious using this bus as you'll be only greeted by the same service going by other reviews

Female bus driver was so rude. You had to have a mask to get on her bus, which is fine however it didn’t say anywhere that this was necessary to ride. Therefore, I did not have a mask. I didn’t argue but politely asked if they have any or know where I can buy some. She was very angry that I had asked and started shouting at me. I then walked away baffled why she had been so angry and attempted to ask a man who was there for help. However, she came over and began shouting at me again, gesturing for me to leave the area (the public side walk). I paid for my sister and I’s ticket and she didn’t allow me on the bus, despite the fact I was more than willing to find and wear a mask. I wanted a refund but had no way to get it. Then I had to buy 2 new bus tickets, (with the same service) and got on the bus beside lots of passengers without a mask. This experience made me really upset and honestly made me want to leave Spain and go back home altogether. Awful service, I’ll book a taxi next time. (Bus 616 MLG-AERLMB)

The worst! Line L79 between Marbella-Estepona. You never know when the bus will come or if the driver will stop at the bus stop or not. 14.00, 14.30 the bus May come May not depend on the driver, they dont give a damn about official bus schedule. Sometimes the drivers dont want to stop at the bus stop even with “parada solicitada”. The last bus on Sunday decided not to stop at all at Puerto Banus because no sitting place knowing that on San Pedro half of the people will leave.

Terrible service. We were getting a bus from Marbella to Malaga and the board said platfom 7. A bus pulled into platform 7 and sat there. We were then told the bus was from platform 11 and had left. Staff amazing unhelpful. Shocking

The bus line is prompt and reliable and the bus drivers are courteous and helpful. But dealing with the ticket sellers is a real displeasure. The young lady in the ticket office was downright rude. She acted as if we had no right to buy tickets to ride on the bus. My wife and I both speak fluent Spanish so communication was not a problem. But, this is our first trip to Spain and of course we have questions about local travel. Not only did the young lady not want to answer our questions but outright lied to us about round-trip booking. She told us that we would have to return at 3:30 PM and that there were no other buses available for us to use to return. Later the bus driver told us that that was false information and that there were numerous buses that we could have taken later do you have more time in the place we visited.

I would have given 5 stars - but the service between Estepona and Malaga airport is not frequent enough at night and should start earlier in the morning. Estepona is becoming very busy with tourists and the service is not meeting the needs.

One star is to much but I have no other choice. I don't understand why I book a avanzabus ticket and then I have to drive with alsa?!?! And i ask 3 people and no one told me that we have to drive with alsa. Should I smell which bus I take or what? So we have to book another ticket to la lenia and obviously we become no money back. No way I will drive again with this bad service. Please do u self a favour and choose another way, its maybe more expensive but u have not to buy another ticket. The women on the ticket office give me the feeling I'm dumb and helped not a bit. Thanks for nothing. I hope this company will not longer exist.

Arrived today to Malaga Airport and after having been waiting for the bus for over 30 min. there arrives a bus driver that thought he was Putin himself.
Myself,and 2 other ladies didn't have any tickets since the mini kiosk was closed.
At first he pulled an attitude about whether we should be on the bus or not,after that he said ok so while the others have onboarded,i put my bags on the luggage area.
When i return to pay,he says it's full,while he was still omboarding people and almost pushed me out and left me take out the bags again.
Observe i was the first in line of all people that arrived.
What an awfully rude and heartless person that had me reach a meltdown,miss my check in who lead to even more problems and pay UBER 70 euros.
I wonder who runs this company,the bus drivers or the actual owners?
What about giving some customer service classes to your staff?
Horrific,terrible,a pure nightmare.
I rather take an Uber of 70 euros like i did than having this experience again.
The GESTAPO bus driver (old,sour,tired of life,tall,blue eyed)drove the route at about 18.00 h,today at 1st of mars 2022.

Useless. Booked a bus from ronda to la linea and nothing came. Called customer service and basically useless.

Bus drivers cannot read a bus schedule, 30 min late and the price changes from one driver to another for the same journey. The whole company is unfit for purpose. Shame on you all with your rude staff.

Horrible service! Bus drivers are horrible! Very rude, unsimpathetic and lazy. Also there is no toilet and no restroom stops for a almost 4 hour journey. No charger input either, very dated. It's cheap for a reason! Will never travel with them again. Not worth it!

The bus driver was extremely aggressive and rude towards myself and my group. We were shouted at and threatened with the police for talking on the bus with no prior warning. It was a frightening experience and not one I would recommend to anyone travelling in Spain

We are on a bus to Marbella,the bus driver packed every seat on the bus once we got to the airport and is not even making sure people are wearing masks...AS SPAIN IS ON ITS WAY TO RED!! This is unacceptable and a total disregard to Spain, it's healthcare, and the customers who pay for this mode of transport.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
Give me my money back, respect the rules of your country, and respect the health of your customers.

Avanza is a terrible company, never use them. We payed for two tickets from Malaga airport to La Linea and there were no bus at the time of departure. We waited for 10 mins and asked in a ticket office where is the bus. The unprofessional woman in a ticket office told that the bus departured on time and there were 40 people there. We have not seen ever neither bus nor queue of 40 people!!! The other passenger for the same bus came to the ticket office and she told him the same. The woman declined a fact that there was no bus at all and 3 passengers were kicked by Avanza without any excuses and money back!!
There was another bus to Marbella and the woman said we need to pay for it additionally.
Terrible service, terrible unprofessional behavior. I wish Avanza to become a bankrupt soon.

Very bad design and overall extremely bad service

Very narrow seats and often delays.

There is definitely room for improvement...
