Stole our money

Stole our money, upon canceling our contract the company took 2 ending payments. 1 of which I agreed a last payment was fair, but to take an additonal payment and not refund me.... disgusting poor service this program holds hardly any information on motorcycles.... u get the exact same service for free opening up a larsons account.

Avoid this joke of a service

Renews a 12 month contract every year so you can’t cancel! Doesn’t make it very clear, now trying to force me to pay for 8 months extra!

Has barely any information compared to competitors anyway.

A woefully bad company

A woefully bad company, their idea of support is to hang up after you have made a dozen calls to finally get an answer. It offends me that we are giving these people money to provide such a bad service. I suspect they know there are few alternatives and they can treat the customers who pay their wages with such disdain and still get their undeserved pay.

UNBELIEVABLY PATHETIC!!!

Our subscription ended end of March 2020 and cancelled the Direct Debt as we were closed to a global pandemic, we’ve been open 2 weeks and we’ve had a very aggressive debt collection agency collecting for the full 2020/21 subscription and fees! Open 2 weeks!!! Everyone has struggled through this but was this necessary?

I will never use this pathetic company again and will make sure everyone I know in the trade knows how petty they really are.

I did try to talk to them about this and they are not interested, rather take one year rather than 10 more.

Corona Virus CHISELERS.

At the start of the pandemic we contacted a number of suppliers, wanting to suspend accounts for a few months. and put the company into hibernation. Without exception every supplier agreed including, "we thought" Autodata.
3 months in we received an incredibly aggressive Debt collectors letter DEMANDING payment of our arrears. What arrears!
we had an email saying "call us when you wish to restart you subscription.
I have now had to pay these "arrears?" to preserve my credit record
THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES, HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. The product isn't bad but look around, there are better, cheaper and fairer ways to get data. iI you have an account with Euro Car parts they have a free data system
i will never ever use another AUTODATA product again.
I am also making a Youtube video along these lines

I wish i can give zero star.

I wish i can give zero star.
As a non-English speaking background i did not fully understand their terms and conditions.
I signed up the 1 month trial subscription. I did not know that i must bind the 12 months contract automatically. I rang them up and requested the cancellation, but they did not let me. Their contents are very poor. Most of the car they have, dont have wiring diagrams. If lucky i can have the engine management wiring diagram only. I barely get the body control wiring diagram, air conditoning etc... Guys, don't waste your time with this company

Only interested in robbing you of your money

Company is only interested in robbing you of your money and even IF you manage to cancel your subscription, they keep spamming and harassing you. They are totally unreliable, have no morals or decency or whatsoever. Want some good advice? DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH THESE PEOPLE!

In a nutshell

In a nutshell, been with autodata for a considerable time, asked them if they could freeze my account for 6 months because of reducing work and the possibility of closing due to the CORONA virus, in a nutshell when 3 other service suppliers gave me amended payments autodata had nothing in place and weren't even prepared for the eventuality, so told them if they couldn't help to carry on taking payments and close my account at the end of its run, guess what, they're taking the money and have set my account to end at the end of term, so much for customer loyalty !!!!, I can only hope the press and the news people act on this review !!!!!!

Scammers Avoid

Had a monthly subscription for a number of years lot of the time the info was wrong was paying far too much for what we needed tried to reduce the package with no luck. Eventually we cancelled our subscription, Heard nothing from them and 8 months later vet a very rude letter from debt collectors demanding money for something we never had as it was cancelled and turned off. Avoid

Avoid! Bombarded by emails so we tried the paid trial, didn’t need what they offer so we cancelled, nearly a year later they pass on £1000 to the debt collector for something we never used! When we spoke to them (by email as the phone line was down) they said it’s been passed on now so deal with it???? The company is on its way out, there should be a better way to make money than theft!

MIND AUTODATA TIMES AND CHECK YOUR WARRANTY POLICY

I learned today that Autodata times are used by second-hand car warranty policies (e.g. RAC) to price the labour work.

I had a rear wiper motor failure on a Porsche Cayenne (2012)... the claim was approved by the warranty provider (RAC); however, according to the RAC policy, despite a limit over the labour hourly cost, AUTODATA times have to be used to quantify the labour!

Now, AUTODATA deems that only 0.6 hours (YES, LESS THAN 40 MINUTES!!!) are required to remove and replace the rear wiper motor (including wires etc.) in a Porsche Cayenne!

This resulted in a claim virtually voided...

Lacking somewhat and very basic.

It's very basic with a few torque settings and the odd fill/drain hole diagrams. The TSB's are handy although not always very accurate.

I was really expecting something more comprehensive such as workshop manual repair guides etc. So not really worth the money.
