Fantastic service from Autotrail Grimsby Clare has really good customer service and is very helpful credit to the company also Nick the technician really good can’t do enough to help top marks
My press studs on my main carpet came loose after limited use. Auto Trail after care pretty useless to be frank. They suggested it's somehow my fault in the way the carpets were lifted from their studs. Problem is,I don't lift them and also it's only one carpet and the rest are fine. The studs have become loose because it moves as I walk on it and they are not strong enough. Walking on the carpet is what they are designed for! V poor quality but, very poor after care. They are simply not interested. Avoid. Avoid. Never again.
It's not all bad. Good layout, nice white and black theme to the outside and the bathroom fold up basin is fantastic for a bit of extra room. The retail price was very fair compared to similar models it's rivals produce.
Unfortunately the company should look at their build quality and after sales service. Here are my thoughts on the vehicle I bought:-
1 blind in side door moves when travelling, annoying.
2 Tap which gives you hot water when moved to the blue position, dangerous you could burn yourself.
3 Gas and smoke detectors behind storage lockers at back of van just in front of back doors. May look nice but dangerous as, for example, this is likely to be the last place smoke would reach.
4 Cooker/ grill. Same day I took delivery, the grill fell apart shortly after leaving. The dealership have reattach part but gas is not lighting properly. This matter has now been referred to the manufacturer. As a gas appliance I am worried about using it.
6 A fault on the hot water heater started on my last trip. Something else to be sorted when I take it back for the cooker problem.
Such a shame for things that could possibly have been avoided when the vehicle was built. The cooker has not been dealt with. Could the manufacturer streamline their customer care to resolve issues.
I have only owned this vehicle for one month.
Have contacted Autotrail several times to try and purchase a new window for my V610se campervan, but they never reply to my emails. This is our second Autotrail van I definatly wont be buying another
I have a lovely AutoTrail F-60 which developed a little bit of sponge in kitchen floor unfortunately they told me to take it to Leisure World Catterick That was the big mistake took them 6 months to book me in only to be told they had no one that did the job so had to go back to Auto trail Grimsby who did the job pretty Quick Unfortunately i couldn't sell it until work was done so probably lost 5K You should be able to get compensation for this ridiculous scenario So looks like I'll be taking a loss through no Fault of my own
Contacted customer service requesting a revised C of C, it arrived in the post a day later, no charge. Super, polite service.
We visited Autotrail at very short notice as we had a problem with the screen blind which would have prevented us going to Spain for 3 months. The staff were absolutely brilliant. The work was completed ahead of schedule which enabled us to go on holiday worry free. This was just 2 days before Autotrail shut down for the Christmas and new year break. We have been delighted with our motorhome but even more delighted by the customer aftercare demonstrated by Claire and Nick
Several Issues with our Expedition 66, brought 2023, trimming coming off around cab, warped cupboard door scratched back window (twice), trimming in bathroom coming off, ill fitting back door blind. All reported in 1st year. Email sent asking for feedback (twice) no reply.
Having recently bought our forth Autotrail there were a few things that we were disappointed about.
I sent these to the customer help line but got a reply that did not address the issues and have since sent two more comments that have been ignored.
This will seriously have a part to play in our next change.
Having picked up our new Motorhome from a dealer in Somerset, there were a few things that did not work correctly and we had a problem with the boot locking mechanism. Under the Warranty, it was agreed we could take the vehicle back to the manufacturer (AutoTrail) at Grimsby as we live in North Yorkshire. Getting the agreement and appointment was a little painful, but thereafter, the service was exemplary. Upon our arrival, we were met by the Workshop Manager (Claire) and an Engineer (Nick), who immediately identified the issue from our description of the problem, plus took note of a few other bits that weren't quite right. We left the vehicle with them for 6 hours and upon our return, everything had been repaired/replaced/corrected without any fuss. This was above our expectations, combined with the very friendly service and ethos of being customer centric. Really delighted with our experience and would highly recommend dealing with them direct for any problem areas, service or repairs.

I recently purchased my 2021 Autotrail Adventure 65 from a private seller. I love the campervan but didn’t like the toilet / shower room as it didn’t have a window or any means of controlling condensation. Imagine my delight when I noted the 2024 model is fitted with a window. I contacted Autotrail and spoke with Clare the Repair Centre Manager and asked if my campervan could be fitted with the same window which Clare confirmed it could. I have to say it was a delight working with Clare who was courteous, professional and lovely to work with. I am now the proud owner of the perfect campervan for my needs sporting a brand new window. I will certainly be contacting Clare in future should I need any further assistance with repairs or modifications. Thank you Clare

We bought an Auto-Trail Expedition 67 with a pop up roof in December. It has proven to be everything that we hoped for and expected. We love everything about the Campervan it’s so cleverly designed and maximises the space so well. We recently dropped into the Service Centre and everyone is so helpful and friendly.

Since we purchased our Expedition 66 new in 2021 it has been virtually unusable. First minor issue was the grill didn't work. Next major issue was being woken up with water dripping on my face during the night....main skylight above the bed leaking. It was out of use for the rest of the spring/summer whilst the authorised dealer waited for parts, warranty approval etc. We got it back, put it into storage for the winter only to pick it up for going away to find out the toilet skylight has leaked. The roofline is a damp mess. Back to square one waiting for warranty approval etc. I hate the thing and wish we'd never bought new

The service we received from Auto Trail has been nothing more than First Class. From initially meeting their Sales Director (Scott) at the NEC show in February 23 to physically receiving our new Expedition, their communication and consistent efforts to ensure the timely delivery of our van has been exceptional.
Thank you Scott and thank you Auto Trail.

I took my old motorhome in for restoration work and was really pleased with the result. I had a polish and new decals, and it looks amazing! Would highly recommend. Thank you to Clare and the team.
