My experience has been ok, but the app needs to improve a lot to make the procedure more automated, reliable and safe. Auting should learn a lot from apps as getaround used in France and Spain.

Saved our holiday!
When our initial rental car got cancelled by another company, we were desperate. Luckily we found out about auting and found a car within a day. This way we could still continue our holiday. We also got a much better car than we would have if we rented from a company.
