I wanted to order amplifiers from Audiophonics for almost 6000 Euro.
I had previously checked the opinions on the Internet and it turned out that these particular amplifiers may use faulty modules, which was confirmed by the manufacturer of these modules at that time. Therefore, I wrote to Audiophonics asking about this topic and a few other things related to these amplifiers. I wrote 3 times - both using the online application form and the contact email address. I received no response.
This is a very disappointing attitude, and in this case it also makes it impossible to make a purchase.

I ordered a super custom PSU Torroid transformer this time. Very easy to order and adjust, almost uniquely good ordering process.. Have bought from Audiophonics over 10 times and have never had any problems. One thing has to be mentioned - they are closed for a couple of weeks in the winter. Don't expect any orders during that period. But it is clearly stated on the website every year. Otherwise 200% recommendation, really top quality goods!

I made contact with this company via email to confirm stock status of a Dac. It was confirmed by email that the Dac was in stock and would ship that same day which was extremely important to me. I ordered and paid for the Dac as per our agreement early morning to ensure I would meet their 12 noon deadline for shipping orders on the same day. To my astonishment after all the guarantees I got it still had not shipped by 11 am next day. Atrocious customer service, they do not keep their word and just want the sale. I have since ordered from another company and will receive on Friday. They definitely did not deserve my hard earned money and ended up losing the sale.

Audiophonics is really good but I reduced with 1 star because of the elevated return costs for private people, which in France are rather high if you want to send it to a specific address and not a locker/pick-up location, being 2 to 3x more expensive. I am not exepecting a free-of-charge return but Audiophonics could possibly do something here (or: they donot expect a lot of returns :))
