Ascope Shipping Services LTD Reviews 

I have used Ascope Shipping for shipping my cars to Kenya a few times and they always give a good service. I will always recommend them.

My first hand experience of this {company} Ascope Shipping, some of the reviews rating them highly so l decided l'm going to go with them. However, to my amazement and disgusting they have let me down at the last minutes. l am flying out to my country next Monday June 17th, the container went on June 6th and will be arriving next Tuesday June 18th, only to receive an email yesterday from Ascope Shipping, they are now refusing to deliver my container until l pay them £190 for going over 30 minutes of the 3 hours they gave me to load a 40''; container. We actually finished loading 5 minutes before the 3 hours given, but the driver was chatting to us when we finished so by the time l signed the paper it was apparently over my 3 hours limit. They clearly used my time to charge me which l wasn't aware of at the time. What l find unfair about all this is that l have no prove, and l can't challenge them due to the fact that l am flying out next Monday so l can't fight them at the moment and l can't afford not to have my container deliver THIS IS DAY LIGHT ROBBERY WHAT THEY DONE, SQUEEZING MORE MONEY FROM A HARD WORKING CARE WORKER, WHO ALREADY PAID THEM £6050 AND I ALSO GAVE THEIR DRIVER £100 TIP WHICH I NOW WISH I DIDN'T. I BE GOING AWAY AND ENJOY MY HOLIDAY, I HOPE THEY ENJOY MY MONEY {THEFTS} WHEN I COME BACK I'M GOING TO CHALLENGE THEM. I HAVE A GOOD SOLICITOR FRIEND WHO'S LOOKING INTO IT BECAUSE THERE WERE CLAWS IN IT THAT DID NOT MAKE SENSE. SO HOW DO THESE CLIENTS UNDERSTANTS WHAT THEY HAVE READ. AGAIN THEY HAVE NO PROVE OF HOW AND WHEN THE WORK IS DONE OR DOING BECAUSE YOU CAN'T TRACK THEM LIKE EVERY MODERN CARS ETC. BASE ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. IS ONLY MY OPINION, THE CHOICE IS YOURS. I'M JUST VENTING BECAUSE I AM VERY ANGRY. GOOD LUCK TO PEOPLE DOING SHIPPING. SORRY I DIDN'T STAY WITH MY PREVIOUS SHIPPOING COMPANY JOHN WOOD SHIPPING, THEY WERE EXCELLENCE, UNFORTUNATLY THEY NO LONGER DEAL IN HOUSEOLD GOODS SHIPPING, I WAS SO DESPERATE TO USE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE EXTREMY PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST, I WENT OVER 2 HOURS OF THE 3 HOURS AND THEY NEVER CHARGED ME.....YOU HAVE RESPONDED MY REVIEW AND ARE MAKING EXCUSES JUST LIKE YOU HAVE DONE WITH ALL YOUR REVIEWS, I HAVE THE EMAILS YOU SENT TO PROVE MY POINTS. ASKING £190 FOR 30 MINUTES AND STATING THAT MY CONTAINER WILL NOT BE DELIVERED UNTIL I PAID YOU.YOU ARE THEFTS . EVERYTHING I WROTE HERE IS FACTUAL. ASCOPE SHIPPING NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED. UPDATE: THINGS GOT WORSE, THE CONTAINER ARRIVED TWO WEEKS LATE, I WASN'T INFORMED OF THE DELAY WHATSOEVER. TO MAKE THE MATTER WORSE THEY NEVER PROVIDED ME WITH A WAYBILL SO THAT MEANT I WASN'T ABLE TO RELEASE THE CONTAINER WHEN ITS FINALLY ARRIVED. I HAD TO CALL THIS JACOB, WHO IN MY OPINION SHOULD NEVER RUN A BUSINESS. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS GRAPPING WHATEVER MONEY HE CAN FROM CUSTOMERS. I ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY EXTRA CHARGES DUE TO THE DELAY. THEIR GOOD REVIEWS I'M CERTAIN ARE NOT GENUINE. STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM ASCOPE. THEY ARE THE WORSE SHIPPING COMPANY IN MY VIEW. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMED THEM TO ANYONE.

Ascope Shipping is very reliable. This is my first time with them. The price of shipping was very competitive for a start. Jacob was very helpful and professional. Always at the end of the phone to answer any questions and ready to help even when it looked like my documents had gone astray.

Very honest and trustworthy people. Have done several export jobs for me to Africa. Good information throughout and any concern fixed without delay.

Jacob is just awesome. His prompt communication is amazing. He gave me the best service. I received my car in good shape. Thank you Jacob.

I was glad for the communication and paid for the service. but later the company asked me another bill for jumpstarting, which you should not be charging for, I am sure that many cars needs it. I feel very sad about it.

Ascope was Brilliant.
ManoWorks (SL) Ltd a UK based construction company establishing in Sierra Leone, was shipping one of it’s pick-ups trucks, but made an error on the shipping form that was picked up by shipper at the port of dispatch, meaning we had to chase Ascope early morning hours, to resend the shipping documents. They responded swiftly, and we were able to continue with the delivery process at the port.

Swift response to emails and phone calls. Will definitely use again. As we grow our business in Sierra Leone.

The experience was great, our cargo arrived safely in Malawi from the UK. We opted for loading our car and household effects at their depot in Essex and they did an excellent job. My advice to the first timers is to ask for bill of landing as soon as possible and also contact early the shipping company at the final destination.

I have to say fantastic service from start to finish. We transported a mercedes sprinter van to Kenya without any issues and Jacob was helpful throughout our the process, with the rate of GBP changing it actually turned out cheaper then the original invoice given. They didn't even chase us for the invoice once the van was shipped. So overall 5* service from the company and will be using again.

Jacob never disappoints, very calm man to work with. A true gentleman, keeps his word.
