Don’t use acs robert wasted my time and put forward an application which had no chance of passing. Then offered me a bridge loan with terrible terms. Went to another broker and my finance was sorted very quickly with far better terms. Was charged £500 for not sorting finance would advise to avoid this company.

As a lender we have been working with ASC for some time now and have completed numerous transactions.

I have always found them (including different offices) to be very on top of each deal including they way they present the loan initially, managing the process through to completion.

Would happily recommend them across the board for SME finance!

I recently contacted ASC,about business equity finance,their con artist meme was Andre dent,after an initial discussion contact ended,then,!!!,the dent contacts,I can get a deal,which gives incredible equity from the freehold,the interest is paid yearly by the equity,not too worry,ASC has lenders in place to help,"too good to be true",as it turns out,it was,the dent explains ,it will cost approx £500 for me to put together a business plan,and one and a half% of the deal when finalised,fill in these forms,give me a couple of days,and I will contact,guess what happens,no contact,I was the one that had to make contact,only to realize the confidence trickster "Andre dent",had suckered this customer,I used ASC 19 years ago, successfully,the people then had integrity,and a high degree of professionalism,today,these people are full of misdirection,the adage of if it's too good to be true,!!!!!!,it is,

We were offered the opportunity to purchase the freehold of the property that we had been renting from our local authority for 20 years or so, and managed to negotiate a very favourable price, so the next step was to find the finance. A chartered surveyor that we knew suggested Richard Scotney at ASC Finance, so we duly made contact with Richard.
It wasn't too long before Richard found a lender prepared to advance the necessary funding, and although there were many side issues to be dealt with along the way, Richard maintained contact and guidance throughout and was instrumental in bringing about a positive result. We now own the premises that we occupy thanks to Richard.

I was looking for asset finance for a very specific product. After speaking with ASC (Robert), they told me that they had a couple of potential lenders interested and that it wouldn't be a problem for them. I paid the advance service fee (approx £500), completed the application forms and 3 weeks later nothing back from them. Now speaking with Robert after me calling him, I'm told that he's struggling to find a lender. In other words I've given them £500 in advance for no service at all.

I've now sourced my own lender which i told Robert to which he replied "well i don't go to all lenders we have a pack of them that we use"....I've paid for Robert to find me a lender and then he is limited to certain ones.

I approached ASC for help with a small commercial Loan. ASC Only provided a handful of loans (have since found loans with better terms myself). The lender went into liquidation at the 11th hour - ok not ASC fault, but how they dealt with it was.
I was told either to 'wait and see' - something I was unable to do as searches were completed and have a finite life (so approximately £3k would have been wasted)
Or take a very unfavourable loan. So, pressured into tying myself into an unfavourable mortgage for 20 years.
In the end I found finance myself, however ASC have refused to refund either the £495 initial consultation fee or £1915 that was paid for loan offer that never materialised. £2410 in total for nothing apart from additional time and stress, something they were paid to reduce!
That's £2410.00 to broker a loan for £115,000, a loan that they never provided! After reasonably and politely requesting the £1915 refunded (not even the full amount) this has been refused.
ASC contacted Trustpilot and attempted to have this review removed. After I provided evidence that unfortunately I was a customer of ASC, Trustpilot have reinstated my review.
