Horrible

Hounded me with calls and emails a few years ago after Eir failed to log my returned modem and chased me for an imaginary amount I owed them. Horrible people. I was crying on the phone as I knew the issue wasn't of my doing and the advisor sniggered down the phone at me. It was eventually resolved.

I believe these people are scammers

I believe these people are scammers. I've paid £30 a month for a year and my "debt" hasn't decreased. Spent a day trying to contact them by phone. Always cut off after a few rings

Untrustworthy - unable to provide proper online secure link

If you collect debts, the least you can do is have a website that works. There is no way to get a secure way to make a payment - they want card details over the phone - ABSOLUTE NO NO these days. They give you a "link" to a payment page, but you can't log on and make it work. I wouldn't trust this bunch of crooks at all

BAD think a change to EP financial solutions will help

Ignore complaints do not awncer them give false and fake emails out Total disregard for disabled people no care no remorse don't supply correct information even when provided evidence will denial of there own actions
They are so bad that the ombudsman try and reject there complaints
Think a change to EP financial solutions will help same people wolf in sheep's clothing.

Liars

Told me i have £18 from ionos paid with the agent over the phone next day i receive email from RISE i believe its part of Arvatof claiming i still have a balance of £15 to pay . Just liars very useless company

Bordering on harassment now

Bordering on harassment now. I am paying money that I shouldn't whilst going through the FOS with a complaint. That's not the fault of this company but I have twice agreed to a payment plan as I've had to take compassionate leave. Payments have been taken as agreed.. but after each payment it goes quiet for 2 weeks and then they're back, telling me they're trying to contact me when they have no need

My mother died

She left behind my 86 year old father and he needs me. I am not taking home a full wage because of this

I am heartbroken and classed as vulnerable in the eyes of the FCA but this company keep sending me emails and text messages

If this continues then it's official complaint time!

I have called them 3 time this morning…

I have called them 3 time this morning to ask for a payment on behalf of My Builder which is a false claim from them in the first place.

They became really unhelpful and rude once I told them that I am going to dispute the claim. They told me that the line is very band and they can't hear me, I requested a call back from them which they refused and just told me that I need to make the payment.

Know your rights

Received a text completely out of the blue from ArvatoFS, saying they had information regarding a debt with a company I had used over 15 months ago. I have all documentation and proof that my contract ended with this company, and everything was fulfilled. When I rang Arvato, the lady asked irrelevant questions (such as what is my current address - and from reading other peoples reviews it seems obvious why this was asked.) I rang the company the debt was allegedly with this morning and they confirmed there was no debt, and they are now investigating. Know your rights and never ever give over personal information.

If I could give a minus rating I would…

If I could give a minus rating I would ! Horrible predators who pray on vulnerable people. Breaking into my home and bullying me and my children even though we are on the priority services register ! Daniel Holman who works for this company was very rude and nasty and made us feel frightened in our own home when he entered and approached my then 14 year old child who is being assessed for autism. Vile nasty predatory company !!!

I wouldn't trust them with a 10p lollipop!

Last year 2022 the email address doesn't work using the address at the top of the letter being incorrect. The contactus page is incorrect for the address as well; and online the website won't accept a password (any password) to try and get through to ARVATO. I have tried again this year 2023 and still it fails miserably. Considering they are supposedly financial services, I wouldn't trust them with a 10p lollipop!

i would not say dodgy

i would not say dodgy, if a meter was forced on you its because you did not pay you bills you need to define vulnerability, people hide behind it saying i am vulnerable when they are not. I had arvato come down and put a meter in i owed 3200 to british gas the person gave me advise that all i pay back is £3.50 every time i top up and it would take 20 years for bg to recover there money. so to me it made sense. do we expect to have free electric gas no we don't we have to pay. On the video there was talk of young children but what did the person do for a living (he might have not been vulnerable) tenants move into properties don't notify electricity company's and try to still electricity then move on again

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. As a vulnerable person myself I've had your disgusting company break into my home. Ontop of that your debt collector tried hitting me with my own front door and tried taking my mobile phone out of my hand ontop of illegally accessing my home due to vulnerabilitys. So glad it's being investigated and looked into via the ombudsman. Hang your heads in shame

British Gas scandal

They are a company devoid of compassion or decency who have been exposed by The Times' brilliant undercover investigation to have broken into the homes of vulnerable, elderly, disabled and impoverished gas supply customers to install pre payment meters forcibly.

Pure evil

This company has changed its name multiple times in the last 10 years. Always a sign of a very dodgy company.

Someone should audit them....hello, HMRC?

I've dealt with them in the past, under one of their old names....pure evil.

The news about their operations for British Gas is finally making the public aware of this company. With any luck, this will be the end of them.
