Artscow dishonest behaviour
Artscow has announced a major sale early April 2025 and have placed an order with them April 10,2025. On April 11,2025 they have announced that website is closing down . They have sent an email on April 17,2025 that customers should download their pictures from website before April 30, 2025 when site is closed. I have tried since to check on my order that still shows "in process" for almost 2 weeks. I have tried to write to website and call the listed numbers. Artscow has disconnected all means of communication, I'm unable to email and phone number says "disconnected". I'm unable download pictures as well. This situation is nightmarish to say the least. I just don't know what else to do.After 2 decades of exemplary service this business has gone rogue, closed shop and left with our monies and hundreds of pictures. Any suggestions ?
Years of custom and then poor customer service when there was a problem.
I have ordered from Artscow for a number of years with no problems. However my last order I ordered a personalised bag for my business with a view to order more. The bag came with a huge hole in the lining. It looks like the lining was simply not finished properly. I politely pointed this out to Artscow and sent photos of the problem. They apologised and offered me 3USD to solve the problem. This seems to be the only solution as their website states they do not offer refunds or returns. I do not expect to complain about receiving a defective product and then be offered a few dollars. I have asked them to close my account as I won't be purchasing them again.

Previously relied on Contrado, Spoonflower, more recently tried Printful and Printify: ArtsCow matches them for quality and greatly exceeds them for product range. Customer Service A1: I stuffed up, they fixed. Twice. So very helpful. And so very cheap. I just hope their staff are properly rewarded and treated. Delivery was a little slow but it was Christmas time, and it was nicely packaged in zip-lock bags inside satchel. Two suggestions: (1) bigger file-size allowance, and (2) more natural fibres. Thanks ArtsCow.

Scam company with legitimate products
This is a scam company that provides legitimate products, if that makes any sense.
The reason I discovered them is I wanted to get a custom printed dakimakura, but I had trouble finding a company who was willing to print nude artwork. After doing some research, I found Artscow and placed my order.
The quality of the first print and fabric of the material were good, but I made a mistake leaving not enough empty space in the margins, and so they decided to crop the image right below the eyes. So I decided to get the order reprinted and that's where the nightmare customer service began.
Despite there being no difference in the two images aside from how much whitespace there was, they rejected the second print for being obscene. I got confrontational and told them they had already printed this once before, there was an issue with the print, and I was just trying to get the print corrected, and started asking for a refund. Instead of answer the question they offered a compromise that if I censored the artwork with a mosaic like the Japanese do, they would be willing to print it.
So I modified the image, sent it back, and said they would approve the design. Then a week later they said they still cannot approve the image because the mosaic needed to be larger and more pixelated. So I modify the image again, they tell me my image is approved, then another week later email me again and tell me that while one person in the company approved the image, the "artist" (whatever that means, they just print photos) refused to print the design without further alterations. They suggested I use an emoji heart to censor the image instead of a mosaic. So I did what they said, and then another week passes, and then tell me the censorship needs to be significantly larger than what I submitted. Finally, on the fourth week of emailing back and forth, they agreed to print the product.
In the middle of dealing with this back and forth with Artscow, I was hit with some bank card fraud. I withdrew some money from the ATM, immediately saw my balance didn't make any sense, and when I checked my bank info there were 3 transactions that day. Me at the ATM, someone in Florida dropping $50 at applebees, and someone in Arkansas buying a $500 TV at Walmart. The bank knew it was impossible for me to be in 3 places across the country at once, so I did not have much trouble getting my money back and the person who bought the TV went to jail because the transaction was large enough the police actually wanted to investigate for once. This kind of got in my head while dealing with Artscow because with the card being deactivated I have no idea how they could refund my purchases, which ended up leading me to make more compromises on the design than I would have otherwise.
Flash forward several years later, and I decide I finally want to change the cover of my daki. I decided this time I would use artwork in anime art style instead of a photorealistic art style and see if Artscow would approve it without censorship. I got this order printed and shipped without issue despite being equally "obscene" as the other image.
About a week later, I got a spearhead phishing email that was pretending to be from my local bank which contained my full CC#, exp, and security code. I immediately froze the card and got a new one. Now, I can't prove it 100%, but I am absolutely convinced it was Artscow who was leaking my card information for one simple reason. The second card was brand new, as my previous card had just expired, and the only times I had used the new card were to withdraw money directly from my bank's ATM. Artscow was the first and only transaction I made on that card number. I didn't even recieve the item yet, it got stuck in customs in Alaska somewhere for about 2 weeks before it finally started moving again.
So basically, this company will provide you with a legitimate product of good quality, but then they will screw you out the door. The reason that I am writing this review is that despite not dealing with them for several years, I was recently asking around looking for a place where I could get a customized deck of cards printed for a board game I've been working on, and several people suggested Artscow. AHHHHHHHHHHHH
The reason I give this company 2 stars instead of 1 is that if you want to get erotic art printed, they will do it, you will actually get it, and it will be good quality, but I would recommend you pay with some sort of burner method that you immediately close once you're done dealing with this company.

Can you give a 0 star review? Their customer service is terrible and their photo reproductions are beyond bad. I ordered a personalized photo blanket. Some of the photos came out orange. The base colour was supposed to be dark purple. The colour I got was light blue. When I complained they said I could return it at my cost for a refund. I was not going to send it back to China to get a refund of what I paid when it would cost me a fair bit to return it and end up with nothing. They claimed the photo colours were my fault and that the base colour was 'close enough'. Its not worth the money or aggravation to use this company. I will never use them again and will tell everyone I know not to ever use them. SCAM.

I bought the 100 kn-95 masks
I bought the 100 kn-95 masks. It was a good experience for me. I ordered them on 9/12. I didn’t have tracking through fed-ex, so I was worried. Sent customer service and e-mail on Thursday, 9/17, and the masks were actually delivered right after I emailed them. Was a little cynical about the masks themselves. I used this brand of mask before and the coding on the side was imprinted and the coding on the masks I receive appeared to be ink stamped. The masks fit a bit looser than the other masks, as well, but still snug enough. I ran water into one and there was no leakage. I tried to blow a lighter flame out and it was basically impossible from any distance. I cut one open and it had 4 layers. If they aren’t legit PGT, I am okay with that because I believe they are of very similar quality. Nose piece is solid—not flimsy at all.
This company SUCKS
This company SUCKS! I ordered a custom Watch to match several other items I designed and they sent 1 item in a totally different color then tried to rationalize it. The design, for all 20-30 pieces, have an Aqua background. They sent me a watch with a light blue background and when I asked them to correct it they came for me accusing me of being the one in the wrong. The design I paid for vs. what they sent me is different. Teal and Light Blue is obvious here I wish I could upload the photos here see. Look at the white watch mock up and the item I received. Totally shifty way to do business. They also drastically messed up another item making the print 10xs the size of the mock up. They didnt even try to correct the watch - they were like, "Oh well". Terrible way to do business especially because I was considering them for my business wholesale launch!

Hit or Miss
I've used Artscow several times. The photo blanket turned out great. Canvas prints were 50/50. Some great, some poorly exposed - snow was grey instead of white. On 3/18/20 I ordered 100 surgical masks. As of today, 5/9/20, I'm still waiting for them. Customer Support says to keep waiting. I'm about to ask Paypal for a refund.

I ordered a customized item from them in the beginning of April and heard no updates on my order since then. End of april i emailed them asking to cancel if it hasnt been made yet, and they responded quickly and asked me to contact them with the same email i made the order with. So I did, and then they completely ghosted me. I've emailed them many times after that, called (went straight to voicemail), and dmed on IG and NOTHING. They basically stole from me and are ghosting me now. Do not spend money on these pieces of s****.
Shady!
I ordered masks for my mom to be shipped to NY. Paid $25 for expedited Fedex 2 day shipping. Received masks 5 days later. Then my mom gets hit with a duty/tax bill from Fedex for $38.25 on $50 worth of face masks. I think they should stop pretending to be in TX and be transparent a d let people know that they are shipping from China and that you have to pay duty / tax. Then they discontinued the masks because they were fakes. Do not bother with them they are shady!
ArtsCow has been pretty good, from my experience...
I've ordered from ArtsCow several times, & have always been very impressed with the quality of the products I've received. Their prices aren't the greatest, but their occasional deals, available via email if you sign up for their mailing list, are often very affordable, especially when they include free shipping. It's slightly disappointing that they charge extra for larger size clothing, which strikes me as rather discriminatory, however when stuff is on special, it still works out reasonably-priced for most things, so it's kinda worth it. Customer service isn't great, but I've rarely had to contact them, so that hasn't been too much of an issue. I'll be ordering from them again, I'd almost guarantee it.

Why is an arts company all of a sudden capitalizing on a pandemic and selling masks that are needed world wide in hospitals. Not to mention spreading fear in order to sell their masks with their emails and graphs.

Company is based in China and will not pick up phone or call you back once you pay them! Their return policy means you have to ship item back to china which would cost $65 for a 2 (two) pound item plus pay 15% restocking fee! They know it's an astronomical cost to ship back to china so they **WON"T LET YOU** "Refuse Package/Return to Sender" via post office. You must pay for separate shipping. The whole purpose USPS/fedex/UPS has "Refuse/Return to Sender" is for buyer protection. Yet they will not refund you if they receive the item this way. After battling with them for receiving the wrong size product, they finally agreed to refund only if I would pay the return shipping and NOT if I "Refuse" item. Now item is returned to them and they won't refund me. Wow.
ArtsCow custom shower curtains are Amazing!!!
ArtsCow custom shower curtains are amazing!!!!! If you are on the fence, definitely order it you will not regret it. I ordered two 36” x 72” (Stall) custom shower curtains. Size was described as “Size: One Size Fits Most” and “Material Color: White” on both orders. The size was true to the description (what I assume the one size fits most means-that it will be the perfect size as described. I was worried that with the pixel warning the images would not look good on the curtain, but both curtains turned out great, the image not pixelated at all, and evening without a liner behind the curtain the curtain is not see-through! My warning was DPI=17 (Not Good for Printing) and DPI=46 (Not Good for Printing) and the designs still turned out wonderfully as shown below for each curtain. Guaranteed, the finite details and precision of the original images is slightly blurred, but not to the extent that it takes away from the overall vibe of the curtain. Do make sure to fill the curtain template (even outside of the red “safe area”) because this will make sure the whole curtain is printed with your image. These curtains are extremely good quality and water resistant. Curtain hooks did come with each curtain in the correct number to fit the curtain holes (metal hook holes for nice strength).
In terms of shipping time, yes they are not rapid fast, but most DEFINITELY worth the wait. After placing my order, it took a week to process and ship, and after it was shipped it took 11 days to arrive. Around ~18 days in between order placement and package arrival, but like I said, definitely worth the wait. I am using one curtain on my shower stall and the other to cover up some exposed shelves. Definitely consider using these outstanding custom curtains for uses other than a shower curtain because they are fun and versatile for many applications. This is also a fun way to get the exact curtain you would like if you cannot find one online (like for a specific image/pattern/etc.). With all the discounts of ArtsCow the pricing is also extremely reasonable and great compared to other curtain options. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend these custom curtains!
