Here’s what to bear in mind: You can match 2m and 4m widths in any configuration, but 5m widths can only be used together. Before securing your joins, check that the pile on each piece is running in the same direction for a flawless result from any viewing angle. Consider using an underlay to prevent injuries in a play area or family garden. A weed membrane is indispensable if you want your lawn to stay weed-free. Maintenance Your new Essex 38mm lawn needs minimal maintenance to keep it looking lush. Simply sweep away dirt with a stiff-bristled brush, then rake the pile to plump up the fibres. A weekly hose down will keep your lawn smelling fresh. We also recommend immediately rinsing any stubborn mess for a hygienic outdoor space. To keep your lawn in great shape, avoid placing heavy furniture or toys directly on it. BBQs, fire pits, and even glass-topped tables can be a fire hazard, so always put them on a solid surface away from your artificial grass.
