Hiring cars is nightmare, worldwide, except in South Africa, thanks to AroundAboutCars. I'm a regular visitor to the Mother City and for many years have used Kaydee, and her fantastic team, to secure me the best deal. I'm usually an advocate for going straight to the supplier, rather than through an 'agent' but, for car hire, I go directly to AroundAboutCars. They get the best prices (without hidden extras) and, as happened twice in ten years, if I get a problem with the hire company then the team at AroundAboutCars take all the worry out of my hands and sort the problem for me! They are brilliant!

I have now hired several cars through Aroundaboutcars from Cape Town and OR Tambo. Website is easy to use, confirmed bookings come through quickly. I like the executive cover with zero excess and I can never find a better price through other consolidators. Hire is usually with Avis or Tempest and they are always quick to respond to any queries

Rented a car from them a couple of times and I am still going to do so soon. The booking is made easy. Picked up the car at OR Tambo and that car was in a very good condition, almost new with just few kilometres, the deposit was paid back to us within a promised time frame. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Car was in perfect condition and good on fuel.

I have a good experience with AroundAboutCars. I wanted to rent a car in Cape Town, but I didn’t have a credit card, so my choices were limited. I discovered AroundAboutCars and decided to give it a try. They have friendly customer support, no hidden fees and good prices.

During the booking process the staff was very helpful. We rented a Fortuner 2x2 at O R Tambo and received a pretty new one with only 20.000kms. The price was very reasonable and we didn`t have any problems with the car. After having driven 4000 km , mostly through Kruger NP, we returned the car at the same AVIS station in Johannesburg. If we ever return we definitly will rent our car at Aroundaboutcars again.

Renting at Skukuza Airport was completely straightforward and super quick, as was returning the vehicle in Skukuza. We booked a vehicle through Tempest and got an almost new and well-equipped Ford Fortuner. We'll be happy to use them again on our next stay!

I had nothing but excellent service. I was so indecisive over dates and kept asking for the dates to be changed but not once did they mind. I recommended this company to my daughter and she to will return to them again. Both of us will not look around we will automatically use AROUNDABOUTCARS.
