Still Waiting for My Refund After a Month – Very Disappointing Experience

I ordered a coffee grinder from aromatico.de about a month ago. Initially, DPD reported a problem with the shipment and said they would return the package to Aromatico. I immediately contacted Aromatico and asked them to resend the machine. Their response was that this was not possible and that I needed to place a new order, and they would refund the first one. I accepted this and placed a second order.

However, DPD ended up delivering the first machine a day later. I informed Aromatico right away and asked them to cancel the second order. They told me that cancellation wasn’t possible and that I should refuse delivery so the package would be returned automatically—after which I would receive my refund. I agreed and followed their instructions.

Last week, Aromatico confirmed via email that they received the returned package. But so far, no refund has been issued. Every time I follow up, they simply tell me that my case has “priority,” yet nothing is actually happening.

At this point, I have paid twice for the same coffee grinder due to an issue that was not my fault, and I am still waiting for my money back. This has been extremely frustrating, and if I don’t receive my refund within the next few days, I am seriously considering taking legal action. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Horrible company 1.5 years later and it'd continually confirmed.

Horrible company. Never buy anything of value here....
Purchased a 4000 euro espresso machine. It came it was broken, sent it back to get it replaced the next one came broken too. They didn't have a simple exchange policy so I had to send it back and buy a new one each time. Very inconvenient if you have to wait for the 4 grand to come back to your account to re purchase...

None of the transport/ postage people sent any confirmation info about the pick up or drop off of the machines. They left the machine in a box ( in rain season) out in the open on our driveway. A 4000 euro machine just sitting there on the driveway. And no notice stating it was there. Then the customer service proceeded to tell me that I did get a call and apparently I had approved the time drop off which was a complete lie.

Fast forward 1 year later. There are issues with this machine after only using it a handful of times. Only maintaining it the way the manual says and the proceed to tell us we didn't clean it well enough. Even though the machine blew our fuses multiple times they claim our pressure issues were only because of lack of maintenance. And since the beginning the bluetooth never worked. Now it's in the shop but they aren't even checking that over . They are sending it back without checking the electrical that blew the fuse or the Bluetooth with cshould be covered by the Warrenty. Im appalled, the customer service took over a week to respond with a pick up time for the machine after days of back and forth correspondence. Where I suggested transport days but nothing was confirmed and so I wasn't sure if I needed to re arrange my work schedule.

Never buy any valuable product from this company.

I only chose this company because they…

I only chose this company because they had a clear promise of fast delivery time on their website - buy before 2pm on Jan 4th and you will receive the package between Jan 5-7th. However the company did not keep the promise and delivered the package on Jan 11th (shipped on Jan 8th). Therefore I felt disappointed.
