This company is bad news. if you choose to do business with them, get everything in writing before you sign anything, they will tell you one thing and lie to you that they never said it, while they stick you with a price that is double what they said it would be locked in for. buyer beware, this is a company of thieves.

Excellent customer service from Dallin Bavender! He was knowledgeable and was quick to answer all my questions. He was friendly, and w attentive to steel building inquiry! We will definitely do business with them again.

I had a very positive experience working with Armstrong Steel. The representative, Charlie Jones, was extremely helpful. He answered all my questions, and it was easy explaining what I was looking for - I felt heard, and it was so quick to get a quote and render. Would absolutely work with them again.

Garrett bell has been amazing! He was super helpful for me planning my future in building a barndominium! He was very thorough in finding out exactly what i wanted and how i wanted it. The fact that you have such amazing people helping you, and the building is backed my a 50 year warranty i can’t imagine going wrong.

Mike G Is an Excellent rep. He was very informative in teaching me the ins and outs of steel buildings. The efficiency on how fast he got me everything I needed exceeded my expectations. I would give Armstrong a chance before signing with any other company.

Working with Brandon Shemp has been a blast. He really knows his buildings and the buyers perspective. Got me where I wanted to be and under budget.

My building ordered May 5, 2021 (order number 57055) is almost a year past the expected delivery date. Update, June 1, 2022: I just received a call from the vice president of the company saying that even though I was told I was "locked in" at a price of $42,000.00 a year ago, to deliver the building they will now need $29,000.00 more due to steel price increases. There is a clause not actually on the order form, but referred to on the website, on the order form that says: "Seller may demand and Buyer shall thereupon immediately pay to Seller all increased costs that occur or are incurred on the Buyer’s project by Seller after execution of the PO, including without limitation, increased costs for material and commodities, engineering, labor, freight, shipping, and delivery and related surcharges and storage fees. In the event of such increased costs, the Total Purchase Price shall be automatically increased by the amount of such increased costs and paid by Buyer." If you are considering purchasing a building from this company PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS CLAUSE!
Update June 14, 2022 I filed a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office about Armstrong Steel refusing to deliver the building for the "Locked In" price and for asking me to sign a "confidential" document saying I would rescind any negative reviews and not write any more (or pay Armstrong Steel an additional $6,000.00 fee for non-compliance) to get a guarantee that the price would not go up again(!) and be delivered by a certain date. Today, in response to the letter Armstrong received from the Attorney General's Office I received a call from a vice president of Armstrong Steel offering me $9,999.99 off of the increased price to tell the Attorney General's office Armstrong has resolved the issue in an acceptable manner. Again, if you are considering buying a steel building from this company, be prepared to deal with business being conducted in this manner. Also, please read the 39 complaints that have been filed with the Better Business Bureau in the last 12 months against Armstrong Steel. Update July 11, 2022. Wow, Armstrong's response today, on July 11, 2022 was totally about someone else's (or a fictitious) building. My building was ordered on May 5, 2021, no changes, no dormers, no roof upgrade. My order number is 57055 which should be fairly easy for the company to check. The circumstances they talked about simply did not happen to my order. Update July 12, 2022. Thank you Armstrong, for changing your reply! Update October 4, 2022: So after having to promise about 3 times that I would have the full amount owed (including the additional 29,000.00 above the amount I had "locked in"), Armstrong did actually deliver the building at the agreed upon date and time (albeit a year late) and all of the materials came and were in good condition. The builder told me that the building went up smoothly and appears to be of good quality. I would still be happy to be a part of a class action suit against Armstrong for its practice of charging extra after the initial contract is signed and also for holding me hostage for 29,000 extra dollars for the building or losing my $15,000.00 deposit after a year's delay.

Brandon was very helpful in helping me with finding the right building for me. He wasn’t pushy like other salesman I’ve delt with before. Even though it’s going to be awhile until I’m ready to build. I’m defgoing through Armstrong when I’m ready.

Applied for a free quote to get an idea of what I would need to budget for and was delivered reasults promptly and respectably. Jim was helpful, kind and compassionate. He took the time to hear what I was going for and provided exactly what I needed.

Zach Escuriex was incredibly helpful when it came to helping me choose the right outbuilding for our needs. I do not have much experience in building construction and had a vague idea of what I was looking for. He took the time to explain the different types of roof lines and materials used in their builds and compared them to other outbuildings I was looking at. Definitely a great guide for a large undertaking in a project like my own.

If you read the 5 star reviews you will see they're from people who haven't bought or received their building. Those reviews are likely fake. Of course Armstong is nice to deal with in the beginning but that's where it ends. Look at the BBB site for the real reason why you shouldn't use Armstrong.
We ordered in late July 2021; we were told we would get the building in Dec 2021 then they changed it to May 2022. Here we are in May and we are no where close to getting it. Their excuse is the "structural designer" still needs to draw the plans which is at least two more months then shipping and whatever excuse they can come up with. You cannot get your deposit back unless you get an attorney. These people know exactly what their doing. I can't believe they are still in business and can sleep at night. Shame on you Armstrong.

Working with Armstrong Steel Corp is a professional personable experience. Chris Sirhall has walked me through the process and guided me through all aspects of the building and what we need to consider to complete the process.

To have someone who cares and understands all of the needs to make our choice meet our needs as well as guiding us through the process, A Great way to have a new building with 50 year warranty!

Highly Recommend Armstrong Steel!

We are just in the beginning stages of deciding what type of building we want to go with on our future property, not ready to buy yet. I let them know that upfront but that didn't stop them from giving me the best customer service, answering all my questions, and giving me all the time and information I needed to make an informed decision. I worked with Conner Donohue and he was fantastic! Highly recommend!

i bought a 48x85 building with 1 man door and 2 14x14 roll up doors. Builder stated it was by far the best and easiest build he has done. Armstrong worked with me because I was having permit issues. I locked in a price and made payments til I could take delivery, almost 2 years. They made no changes to the price, Even though the price of steel almost doubled in that time. as for the buildings quality,,,I could not be more pleased. NOTE: I purchased this in 2018-prepandemic.
