Great experience from planning to the end of the tour
We booked a full day private tour of the Grand Canyon South Rim with Cameron. We had taken the train from Williams, AZ and were booked into Maswik Lodge for three nights. Our whole day at the South Rim, I wanted to get away from the crowds and shuttle buses so I arranged for Cameron to pick my mom and I up from Maswik that morning and drive us to places either not accessible via shuttle buses or that take quite a while to get there (like Hermit's Rest). That ended up being an excellent way of doing things. Cameron was extremely knowledgeable and super fun to talk to and get to know. He offered us a perspective we wouldn't have gotten otherwise and allowed us to beat the maddening crowds of the South Rim for a day during our stay there. He was patient and kind, especially with my mom who needed a little extra assistance to hike a small way below the rim. I especially enjoyed how good he was at spotting wildlife (we got a good picture of a condor) and amazing fossils along the trail. He really knew how to see the best views of the South Rim while avoiding the kind of competitive tourism that you'd regularly run into in that situation We highly recommend him and his company!
