It's more than a BBQ hut!! We have had our cabin for over six months now and it's great. Using in winter with a log basket to hold a wood fire means it is usable all year round. no smoke issues in the cabin and a very friendly community on Facebook. If you are thinking of buying one then do you won't regret it!!

Really happy with our BBQ cabin. Team were great from purchase date through to install, responsive and helpful. Team who installed were terrific, despite awful weather they were here on time as planned and cracked on with the work they were able to do, back early second day to get the work done, fortunately with better weather. Team installing were professional and helpful throughout. Great service and looking forward to many happy years with our cabin.

Brilliant cabin and brilliant installation

Be very cautious when buying from Arctic Cabins (AC), after doing my research I decided to go with AC even though it was much more expensive than their competitors. My reasoning was down to warranty, AC offered a 10 year warranty on most of the cabin if it was assembled by their approved contractors, due to the price of these structures I felt the extra money would be worth it.

On contacting AC they provided details of their Scottish distributors who were Scotia Cabins, I bought a 10m cabin which was installed November 2022.

In 2025 AC stopped using Scotia as their Scottish distributor, leaving a void north of the border.

Just over 3 years from having the cabin installed I discovered the plywood pelmets which form the lower part of the roof were rotting with major water ingress. This appears to be a common issue with these cabins with various discussion on the subject on a number of Facebook pages.

On contacting Scotia I was advised this was a manufacturer issue and advised to contact AC for assistance. AC customer service was worse than useless, obviously they no longer have agents covering Scotland and are not prepared to honour their guarantee that they claim come with an anpproved installation. Eventually after involving Trading Standards they have agreed to provide the parts but won’t fund the labour costs, although we will have to wait and see if the parts actually arrive. I will update this review accordingly and may make a video for my YouTube channel when the issue is resolved.

Very poor service from a company that apparently prides itself on the quality of its cabins, my advice would be look at the cheaper options, they are just good! Also any negative comments on their owners facebook group which they admin will get you banned (they don’t appreciate honest feedback).

I have given them 2 stars rather than 1 as apart from the poor quality of materials they use for the roof, the rest of the structure seems fine (after 3 years anyway)

Thanks AC for taking the time to reply to my honest and frank review, shame you couldn't do so on your Facebook owners club page, but I guess there you can control unfavourable reviews by banning members. A couple of points which I believe you are not in dispute of

1. On contacting yourselves when I was in the market to purchase a cabin, you provided me the details of Scotia Cabins who you told me were your representatives for Scotland.

2. You supplied Scotia Cabins with the cabin, thus you are there manufacturer.

3. I never said Trading Standards had contacted yourself, I contacted them for advice, gave them the full circumstances and they advised me that the installer (Scotia Cabins) are responsible for the first 6 months after installation, then the manufacturer (yourselves) are responsible for any further guarantee period after the 6 months. The chap said it was like purchasing a Samsung phone from Amazon, Samsung are responsible for warranty repairs.

I planned on reviewing this rating depending on how things went with the manufacturer warranty for the poor workmanship which has caused water damage. Initially Arctic Cabins agreed to replace the damaged part after many communications through their distributor Scotia Cabins. Alas they have not lived up to their promises and have failed to supply the part. It is now mid April, this has been going on since January. Rather than have the damage spread, I have paid in full to arrange for a repair, so if you are thinking of a BBQ hut, don’t expect Arctic Cabins to honour their manufacturer guarantee. For this reason I have reduced my initial rating by a further star

Impressive from the start, from the no pressure salesman to the efficient installation by Andrew and Adam who worked as a team and once completed, they explained how to get best experience from using the cabin. We have already enjoyed spending time inside and are looking forward to many happy days there in future. Many thanks

Great cabin plenty of room inside and ample bar space! Guys building it worked like crazy in appalling weather and not a mark on any part of the cabin considering ground bit missing and raining!!

From the moment we made the decision to purchase an artic cabin at our local show the company could not have been more helpful.
Every step of the way was as promised.
The guide times for delivering & erecting the cabin were exactly as promised.
The two men who came to do the job were very professional,helpful in every way & wasted no time at all.

We were extremely impressed with the initial service and pre delivery and installation information. On the day of installation the team worked efficiently, cleanly and tirelessly to ensure that it was perfect and that we were happy with the final outcome. The planned 2 days were not required it was completed in one and we are 100% delighted with our Artic Bar. We envisage many a social afternoon/evening going forward. Thank you to all at Artic Cabins.

Delivered on time and area left in pristine condition.
