Poor nursing home system.
If you ever get the chance to go to a nursing home, DON'T. Just DON'T. There are so many failures they cannot be listed here. I'd suggest you start at the state's nursing home inspection department. The food is sub par. There are not enough staff. There are too many mental cases that roam the halls at night looking for things to steal. There is not enough people to watch them. Residents scream all night keeping other residents awake. The plumbing rarely works right. Before you put somone or yourself in one of these places, I'd suggest you tour the facilities and ask some of the lucid patients what they think. It is bad.
