TEAR YOUR HAIR OUT WEBSITE

So frustrating trying to set up my two cars with these loonies. Mind you I have been here before when working as a Voluntary Car Hospital driver. That was a couple of years ago but there is still no improvement. I made a formal complaint to PALS at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, Exeter.

Recently my elderly neighbours were fined because they had not 'paid'. The fact that neither of the two machines would accept payment was completely ignored and they were too fed up to take it further.

The website looks as if you can register a couple of cars and ask for a PERMIT but it takes your round in an ever decreasing circle and you finish up with only one car on your PERMIT. So you try again…you have the same result. Their 'HELP' doesn't; what a surprise!

This is one of the few websites that has attracted 2,333 1* Reviews. What a spectacular record of failure. Why does a NHS HOSPITAL accept such nonsense for Blue Badge patients trying to visit? I am sending a copy of this review to them to make sure that they see it.

This REVIEW is automatically sent to the business and they can comment here.

Thank you for reading this and my thanks to Trust Pilot for this useful platform. If you found this review helpful and could spare a quick 'like' I would be grateful.

Stop all the traffic to read every word on the signs.

We dropped a friend at Manchester airport (terminal 2).
We used the rapid drop off point, assuming we would pay on our exit, either a booth or pay station.
However there were not any payment options.
Apparently now you have to pay online by midnight the same day.
This is actually printed on some signs, but who has time to stop and read everything is says on a sign when you are negotiating roundabouts, other traffic and slip roads. It is dangerous to take your eyes off the road.
A week later we received a fine for £100.
We appealed, but guess what. Our appeal was refused.
If you phone, it is all recorded information.
An absolute disgrace.
If they had sent a letter asking for the original £5 parking fee for 5 minutes we would have gladly paid it.
So be warned.

Just the worst company to deal with

Just the worst company to deal with, they simply don't want to know, parked at trainstation EAST MIDLANDS PARKWAY, NO INTERNET NOBODY TO HELP, NO DEBIT CARD MACHINE, anyway managed to download app, and pay for 3 days even though I stayed for 2, in all the panic I put wrong digit of number plate and got £100 fine, will not be parking at that station again .. They wouldn't listen to any reasoning.

I had one of the worst parking…

I had one of the worst parking experiences of my life at Parkering Borgergade P-hus | APCOA PARKING in Copenhagen. I arrived in the city at around 1:30 a.m., checked into my hotel, and went there only because my hotel did not have its own parking. When I parked and checked the machine, I saw the insane rate of 79 DKK per hour, so I decided to leave and just pay for the few minutes I had been there. I started a session in the EasyPark app to pay properly, then drove to the exit – and the gate simply did not react.Thinking it was a problem with the app, I went back to the machine, paid for a full hour, got a receipt and entered my licence plate number. According to the machine, everything was paid and I had 15 minutes to leave. I drove to the gate again and still nothing happened. I was literally locked inside their garage in the middle of the night, despite having paid.I called their support line. The first agent told me he would “fix it right away”, but after about 20 minutes he came back and said that, according to his colleague, I needed to pay for parking for the gate to open – even though I had already paid and could prove it. When I explained that the machine confirmed my payment and the 15-minute exit window, he basically said there was nothing he could do and that I should come back at 8:00 a.m. if I wanted to get out. In other words, in the middle of the night they were perfectly fine with leaving a paying customer trapped in their garage. After a long day on the road I was exhausted and had no energy to keep fighting with a completely unhelpful system and support. I left my car there and only managed to pick it up in the evening. As a result, I ended up paying around 130 euros for one day of parking – this is a “golden” parking garage in the worst possible sense of the word and feels like a deliberate money‑grab. To make things even more suspicious, it looks like this place has removed itself from Google Maps, probably because it was flooded with one-star reviews. That alone says a lot. I will never use APCOA again and strongly recommend everyone to avoid Parkering Borgergade P-hus if you value your time, money and nerves.

Parked at a train station car park

Parked at a train station car park, where the payment machines were out of order. Tried using the app for payment, and the app wasn't working and wasn't accepting any information in. Took pictures and screenshots of both the out of order machines and the error messages received by the app. Went to speak with the Customer Service at the station, trying to pay the parking, and they informed me there was no way to do it as the car park was managed privately.

Lo and behold, a month later I receive a parking fine. I appeal and submit all the screenshots and pictures as evidence that it wasn't a malicious attempt but there was no other way to pay.

Receive a letter back saying that after reviewing the evidence (I don't think so!) they found I have parked without paying the charge, no mention of the evidence provided by myself about no working payment methods. The letter stated also that I could pay £50 instead of £100 within 14 days, which I did, but guess what? No option to pay £50 and so I got charged £100.

There is no way to speak to anyone or to appeal the decision with a human, it is all done automated.

Disgraceful!!

APCOA parking scam

I feel scammed by the airport parking. I picked someone up at the airport, was parked for no more than 6 minutes. When I went to pay the parking fee a couple of days later I was told I could not and would have to wait for a parking fine! Apparently you have to pay for parking within 24 hours. Why can't you increase the payment time to 7 days?

Would never recommend using this…

Would never recommend using this parking facility managed by Europark A/S (solution by APCOA PARKING Danmark A/S). You are always at risk of receiving a fine. There is no notice stating that you must use the Danish version of the parking app. For example, the Norwegian APCOA FLOW app allows me to start a parking session, yet I was fined from the very first minute of parking on behalf of the Danish APCOA . Additionally, you cannot download the Danish app if your account is linked to another country. That's because their "state-of-the-art payment solutions" are country-specific!

Joanne Harrison-Scott

After weeks of getting nowhere and coming up against a brick wall, I made one last attempt to try and speak to someone with common sense and someone who genuinely listened. A payment was made to Heathrow drop off by mistake instead of Luton 2 mins after leaving Luton. A minor admin task you would think but no !!!! All i got was your appeals have been unsuccessful pay £95 or the bailiffs are coming round.
Today was different I spoke to Joanne Harrison-Scott who was everything and more as what you need in customer services. Im not one for leaving reviews but this young lady deserves all the praise she gets. She would be an asset to any company. Joanne thank you for being there today I wish you and your family a Very Merry Xmas and a Wonderful New Year.

Excellent resolution for a parking place KBH K

I was waiting for a very long time for a parking spot in my area (København K, near Kultorvet), so I got in contact with Apcoa, as I could see that they had some very convenient ones right beside where I work.
It took some time, but finally I have the best position I could imagine, and at a quite reasonable price, knowing the prices for parking in København K.
Rikke, from APCOA's customer service, has been the most helpful, friendly and efficient person ever.
So, thanks APCOA for having staff as Rikke to help us, your customers.

Appeal parking charge when you know you've paid

Over the past three months I have twice received a ticket for using the drop off zone at Luton Airport despite paying the fee within two hours of arriving home on the same day. Both times I have appealed the charge and both times Apcoa have cancelled it, saying the camera had not clearly picked up all numbers and letters on my numberplate. This is a scam! Apcoa are trying it on and many people will just pay up. Please appeal any charge when you know you have paid the parking fee. I would like to complain about this company but cannot find a body to complain to!

Very good experience with email…

Very good experience with email communication with the custermer service reprentative Hanne. She really helped to clarify the issue. By mistake I chosen a different parking area code as area code from our area was not visible in Apcoa website. But she helped me to cancel the sunscription and initate the refund. Also advised how to get parking license for my area. But it was bit disappointing that custmercare representative on phone can not help and they even can’t see any email related to raised query or complain. We need to resolve it by email only.

Just about the WORST operator on the planet

Just about the WORST operator on the planet. Their license should be revoked immediately for awful customer service, rude staff and worst parking systems in the world.

I dropped my nephew today at LHR Terminal 2 and although the system registered the fact I dropped him it keeps saying it's a pre drop payment instead of actually registering the visit and then allowing the customer to make the payment a bit like the DART crossing for example

Absolutely shambolic systems, processo and ataff

FINED ....

FINED ..... Dropped off someone at Stanstead for the first time in over a year, passed my card over the payment meter and drove off !

Just had my £100, pay £60 within 14 days FINE today and very puzzled as i checked through my bank statement to find the parking payment .....which wasn't there!

On Googling I discovered that the system was changed late last year AND SO WHY are the payment meters still there ?

I'll pay the £60 fine and still feel a bit silly over being mugged.

It'll probably be quite a long time before i travel through Stansted Airport again though !

Cowboys!!

My fault as I didn't realise a new payment system was in force. I only found out when it was past the 24 hours
I paid the drop off charge straight away but too late so got a £60 charge and no refund for the £5. THE company lost no money. Trying to pay was a nightmare. The on line system didn't work and after 5 attempts I rang the company and waited 40 minutes to get through. That didn't work either so after hours of wasting my life I still havn't paid

False charges by APCOA

I did a drop off at Luton airport, paid my charge, then some weeks later received a parking demand, at the time i could not find the evidence, so paid the £25 charge. I subsequently found it ,but could not proceed with the complaint as i had now binned the parking demand. I now have the evidence , but they are almost impossible to contact without a reference. I have always paid my way at this airport, and found it strange to be contacted, seems that i am not alone in this, its expensive enough as it is.£5 for 5 mins, without an added £25 that was not justified.
