Horrendous service and rude customer service the pat two weeks I've had a parcel updated as being processed for delivery 3 separate times and still not out for delivery and another item has been out for delivery the past 3 days some how an post basically just blame the other company and take no responsibility for the lacklustre service they supposedly provide

They returned the parcel to the UK, because of missing some documentation.
TWICE!!! They would not contact me if I didn't contact them after two days of stuck in customs on track and trace, throughout WhatsApp. Awful service and try to rip off the customers!

My parcel seems to have gone missing. I have contacted An Post via their Whatsapp 3 times now and keep getting a generic response from each member of their customer service team saying to wait another few days. Yesterday I was told they would contact the Mail Centre and I would get an email, of course I didn't receive it. Today a Customer Service member called Sean actually closed the conversation midstream with an automated response! I have to say that was what prompted me to write this, I can't believe the rudenesss. All I want to know is where my parcel is or if it is lost, if it is, own up!
Update: Having replied below, I have still heard nothing and Customer Service told me this morning to contact Marks and Spencer who would have a more direct tracking system to my order!! UNBELIEVABLE. I actually can't believe it, it is back on the retailer now.

My package has been sitting in the same sorting center since April 9th. To make matters worse, An Post has provided false information to the retailer claiming the item was delivered, while their own tracking and support staff admit it is actually "delayed." This dishonesty has made it impossible to get a refund or a replacement from the seller. Absolute lack of integrity and incompetence at the sorting level.

A Guy arrived with a damaged order from amzon and told my partner not to take it. It was obviously chucked into a bin with no regard for the customer. No return or response from amazon either. Trying to fnd the proper chanell on either site is like an endless maze. Cozy cartel springs to mind. Never again will I use an post.

If I could give minus number then I would. Tracking info unreliable and as far as attempted delivery comment, that is a total lie as I've been at home all day and witnessed the postal van drive straight past my property. This is becoming a weekly occurrence and totally unacceptable. All avenues of contacting An Post give a different reason to why item not delivered including high volume of packages in my area so item recalled. That was excuse given on watsapp. Online chat gave different reasons. The untruths continue. Finally they ask if you'll participate in a survey concerning the service. You couldn't make it up 🙄. Not fit for purpose

I had to send a time-sensitive travel document to Tipperary and chose to use An Post registered post, specifically to ensure tracking and confirmation of delivery. Unfortunately, despite paying for this service, my parcel was sent to Germany instead.
As a result, I missed the submission deadline for my document. It has now been over a month, and I still have no clear information on when, or if, my document will be returned to me. This has been an extremely stressful and frustrating experience.
In hindsight, I very much wish I had used a courier service such as DHL or UPS. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to consider alternative providers.

Constant delays and parcels lost but what gets me is that every time I contact the customer service, the agents are beyond rude and careless. Puzzled at how they are allowed to be that brash — is there no quality programme / checks at An Post to see how they speak with customers?

I received a notification: 'Go to post office; package available for collection.' I drove the 30 minutes one way, only to find out no parcel is there; it was scanned as delivered, but it is not hers. Come back in a few days; it will be here by then! What nonsense is that? I do not have the time to spare to be driving around all day. Very poor experience.

it used to be much better, no matter what time of the year you always get the same script reply " due to a large volume ......" I received a text yesterday stating my item will be delivered today but nothing was delivered. The service has been going down year after year.
