Pas secure pas simple

Your site is useless! You cannot see the place where your dog will be staying without making a reservation and paying you hidden very expensive fees. We viewed a potential sitter today after making a reservation for April. There is no way our dog would stay with this sitter. The house was tiny she had an enormous dog and was looking after two other aggresive dogs. This sitter is rated 5 star! God only knows what the other sitters are like on your site? I have tried to cancel the booking only to find you are telling me I have no reservations! Would I use you again? Would I recommend your site? No!

- settings to disable sms notification (got 45 sms in one day)
- preview of the response in the email notification to avoid unnecessary connections
- stop showing the chat as unread (bold and red dot) when I reply
- enable modifying or deleting the ad in case of errors when creating it
- improve the algorithm that blocks conversation to avoid blocking when sharing the pet sitting dates.
- add a clear description that booking needs to be made to get in the pet sitter phone number and how to cancel if the person is not a match (what are the charges??)

J'ai réservé un chien sitter via Animaute et payé le contact. La gardienne n'était pas disponible pendant la journée, mais ne me l'a pas dit. J'ai demandé un remboursement, mais je n'ai rien reçu. Ils m'ont envoyé 3 emails et me disent que je dois attendre 14 jours pour des raisons juridiques. C'est ridicule, j'ai payé en quelques secondes, pourquoi dois-je attendre 14 jours pour un remboursement. S’ils payaient simplement le remboursement, ils pourraient envoyer moins d’e-mails ! Si je ne le reçois pas, je demanderai un remboursement sur ma carte de crédit. ""Bonjour, "Il s'agit d'un DÉLAI légal appliqué à chaque demande de remboursement.Cordialement "" Ils semblent utiliser le délai légal de 14 ans comme délai pendant lequel vous attendez votre argent, plutôt que de vous payer le plus tôt possible. D'autres critiques disent également que le service de remboursement est très impoli. LEUR RÉPONSE CI-DESSOUS: Ils ont répondu, il semble que plutôt que d'effectuer un remboursement rapidement, ils prennent les 14 jours complets pour effectuer un remboursement (ou un remboursement partiel si vous lisez les autres avis 1 étoile). S’ils passaient moins de temps à rédiger des e-mails, ils pourraient effectuer un remboursement en quelques minutes. Réponse inappropriée.
In English: I reserved a dog sitter through Animaute and negotiated a time with the dog sitter, but after I paid Animaute a lot of money to get the contact details of the sitter, the sitter told me they were not available. So I requested a refund. Animaute have sent me 3 emails telling me that for legal reasons I have to wait 14 days, which is ridiculous. Instead of sending emails, they could just make a refund. If they do not, then I will request that my Credit Card Charge-back Animaute for the money. This is the response I received 7 days after I applied for a refund "This is a LEGAL deadline applied to each reimbursement request". They seem to use the 14 legal period as a timescale you will expect your money, rather than paying you as soon as possible. Other Trustpilot reviews also say that the refund department are very rude. They are not user friendly. I do not recommend them. THEIR RESPONSE BELOW: They have replied, it seems that rather than make a refund soon, they take the full 14 days in which to make a refund (or partial refund if you read the other 1 star Reviews). If they spent less time writing emails, they could make a refund within minutes. Inadquate response.

Absolutely horrendous website!
We contacted 1 cat-sitter who stopped responding after having accepted. As there were no other fitting cat-sitters that we felt comfortable with, we cancelled and went with another website. They refused to reimburse €40 of already paid money. We complained and they said we had to send a signed letter, costing €6 to file the complaint officially in order to get reimbursed. They refused once again to reimburse us. They have given us a voucher of €40 on the website, which we can't use as there are no fitting sitters and we absolutely never want to use this horrendous website again.

To make it even worse, they are exceptionally rude in their messages.

Avoid at all cost!!

The gardien cancelled the reservation, days ago and I am still waiting to get the refund. Not using this service ever again.

Update: Apart from a scam, this is a joke. If only you took the time you spend responding to bad reviews in actually SOLVING your customers' issues.. but no, you reply via e-mail saying you have 14 days legally to process my request (not even to actually refund me but just to process the request). All for a service I paid for but did not receive due to a cancellation out of my control.

Again, BEWARE. You might end up with the guard cancelled, having to find other option for your pet, and with almost 80 EUR retained for who knows how long. AVOID this website.

New update: They are SUPPOSEDLY refunding me (because I have not yet received anything, perhaps this is also a scam) 27 of 77 EUR I paid because 'I was subscribed to a cancellation insurance'I guess lucky me, because I see from a previous comment that they've refused to reimburse him altogether. I've never seen anything like this, they are literally stealing money from people who care about their pets. This is an outrage, I will be pursuing legal actions.

Animaute took 90 euros on their site as a fee to take the dog couple times out, ridiculous amount of money for just putting us in contact, and basically one has to pay the baby sitter in cash (which usually is very small.) I was shocked to hear that the babysitter got absolutely nothing from the 90 euros.

I would never ever use this site again!

We booked a dog sitter and paid a deposit of 168 euros. The dog sitter then changed her mind without even meeting us. The other dog sitters lived too far away or didn't suit us for other reasons so we asked for a refund. This is the reply we got,

En effet, d'après l'article 20 des CGU, vous ne pouvez prétendre à un remboursement

Cependant, à titre commercial, nous avons le plaisir de vous octroyer un avoir d'un montant de 118€ déductible de votre prochaine réservation valable sur notre site pendant 1 an.

We just lost 168 euros!

The messaging service between potential sitters and I has been very good. I have taken advantage of the supplementary payment to ensure that I can meet the sitter beforehand and change my mind if my chosen sitter and my dogs are not compatible.
