Incredible cake created for my 30th birthday and Reshmi is a genius. My boyfriend asked for a Guinness chocolate cake with a slight Black Forest gateau twist and she absolutely smashed it! Thank you for such a wonderfully exquisite piece of art which was delicious!

Reshmi baked our Pink Sweetheart wedding cake back in 2017 and it was glorious, we got some many positive comments about it. So when it came to ordering a cake for our daughter's first birthday this weekend, there was only one bakery on the shortlist. I cannot recommend Ange de Sucre highly enough - the Pink Flamingo cake itself was delicious, great texture, not too much icing, and was so beautifully decorated. It was delivered efficiently on the date requested. I wrapped the cake box in clingfilm as recommended and, 3 days later, the leftovers are still going strong. I'll definitely be a repeat-repeat customer the next time I have a cake-worthy celebration.

I ordered the Salted Caramel MacDreamy Birthday Cake for my boyfriend's birthday and the whole experience was seamless - from the quick customer service, to adding a bespoke delivery note, to a special surprise being included, to the cake itself both looking stunning and tasting delicious!

I was struggling to find a quality cake delivery outside the M25 but Anges de Sucre were exactly what I was looking for. And it's great to be able to support a brilliant small business like this.

We ordered the Gaga Rainbow cake for my husband’s birthday after hearing about them online. The cake was absolutely beautiful! Super colourful, bright and creative. Even the doughnuts were delicious and edible. They are a great small business and worthy of supporting!

We have enjoyed three fantastic cakes from Reshmi and team over the last 18months and they have really helped make celebrations during lockdown special. The cakes always look perfect and taste amazing too. We look forward to eating much more!

The beautiful cake arrived in perfect condition and tasted amazing. The cake was admired by all who saw it and ate it. I was very reluctant to cut it as it looked so beautiful. It’s hard to find a cake that looks good and tastes amazing but Reshmi and her team do just that. Thank you for making it so special for us.

Extremely poor service

We bought cake for our son's first birthday. Paid over £170 for a themed cake.

We had to throw the cake because, on the day of the delivery, the driver left the cake to the neighbour's door for over 7 hours.

We waited until nearly 5pm and when we emailed the company to tell them that the cake had not been delivered, they replied yes it was delivered at 8am.

I was home and so was my wife. The bell did never ring. We accept deliveries every day and the bell rings for every delivery.

The company said that the driver had left at the neighbour's door, and the strange thing is that there is a main door to the block of flats and then there is our door and that of the neighbour. Not sure why the driver, once in the block of flats, would not leave the delivery next to our door but behind the neighbour's door.

Because it was behind neighbour's door we did not go to check.

So we just took a few pictures and threw the cake away because we could not trust to eat something that had been left outside for over 7 hours.

Needless to say we won't buy from them any time soon, or ever. What's more we were so disappointed with their level of reply and rejection of responsibility.

Update: The company talks about the wrong number, which is true. However, the driver came to our door and left the cake at the neighbour's door not our door. The driver could have knocked on our door. Sadly we don't seem the only ones giving you one star. Sadly I ignored these one star reviews.

My daughter was delighted with the devil chocolate cake (and she is a bit of an expert) Reshmi couldn’t have been more helpful after I had a few concerns re the delivery and my message with the cake. Her responses were very quick . The cake looks identical to the website

I have been ordering cakes from Anges de Sucre for a couple of years and they are always amazing! I have tried a variety of cakes from their range and every single one has been super delicious, freshly baked and beautifully decorated. Recently ordered the Ferrero cake and it was divine... and Omg! the best rose pistachio cake I have ever tasted! Have always had a very positive experience with them - from the great customer service through to the delivery of the cakes. An absolute treat and would highly recommend. Best cakes in town!

Cake was selected online . Paid for . All very easy . It was delivered on the date requested. Looked amazing and was absolutely delicious . Would not hesitate to use Anges de Sucre again.

I ordered the ‘Mermaid Cake’ for my daughter’s birthday. The cake looked amazing and was absolutely delicious! I can’t recommend Anges highly enough and would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

This is the 3rd cake that we have ordered from Anges (we have also had the ‘Pink Sweetheart’ cake twice....it was that good!) Each time that we have ordered, customer service has been friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful.

Ordering a cake online from Anges de Sucre was a pleasant experience. They have a broad range of beautiful cakes so the only hard part was choosing one! They also deliver to Ascot which is a huge plus as not many luxury food companies will deliver this far out of London. I contact the website to confirm my order and the owner replied to discuss my requirements. She was a pleasure to speak with and gave the experience a nice personal touch.

I received a text message the day before to confirm the delivery and the cake arrived at 8:30am as promised. The cake was amazing. It was such a big hit that we ordered another cake a week later. We'll probably find any excuse now to celebrate something and order more cakes!

Had a great experience from start to finish. I ordered my cake about a week before the event and on the day I received a message confirming when the cake will arrive. The cake arrived looking perfect and it was delicious. I got the cake for my mother’s birthday , I ordered the matcha tea cake and to be honest I am not a fan of match myself at all however I am now completely converted , this was the best cake ever. I am very impressed and I will keep ordering for all my future events.

I don’t ever write reviews but felt incredibly annoyed by this so wanted to warn others. I ordered the Victoria sponge for my husband’s birthday 6” for £100. The cake was flavourless, claggy and the buttercream awful to the point of inedible. The texture of the cake was bizarre too - almost crumpetlike. I don’t mind paying high prices if the product is good but this is definitely style over substance. Maybe this was a one off as the other amazing reviews don’t apply to my experience but frustrating and a waste of money nonetheless.

My second cake from Anges de Sucre and just as amazing as the first. The smell of the chocolate in my fridge was incredible, I couldn’t wait to try it. The Willy Smith was even more outrageous in real life than on screen and the birthday girl loved it. A huge recommendation
