I rarely write a review as I'm rarely so impressed and pleased but the support provided by Alex from the Boldon offices truly deserved to be recorded for others to benefit from.
Supporting me and my family in leaving the home we grew together in and helping us navigate the search for our replacement over an extended time line with limited stress ensured this was no horror story we to often hear about.
I could go into the detail of each step of the process but I think what shone through across the entire journey was Alex's experience, straight talking and desire to give the best possible experience for her client.
Finally woth highlighting thatI bought through Andrew Craig and have now sold six years later and could see the difference in comparison to the other agent on both occasions so if we move again in the future there is only one call we'll be making.

We were appointed Andrew Craig through a third party management Company, MoveWithUs (but that’s another review) The solicitors we used for the conveyancing were uncommunicative to say the least. But Andrew Craig staff diligently pushed forward through it all showing that they at least offered a professional service.
My only regret is not appointing them ourselves as communication was officially supposed to go through the third party, which in the end was an impossibility.
I would recommend.

An excellent service and experience by Julie and the team at Boldon Office. This was my first time purchasing a property and it went smoothly from start to finish. For me, the whole process was around 2 months so quicker than the average house sale. I can't speak for the other offices but I would highly recommend the Boldon Office if you are looking for a property in that area.

Andrew Craig (Sunderland office } were very unprofessional during my attempt to buy a property ,communication was poor and the overall experience was frustrating and disorganised ,one member of staff really let the branch down ,she was rude and talked over you,I wont be dealing with them again based on my experince …..follow on …..Dear Andrew Craig,

Your response does not reflect what actually happened.

My offer was accepted. I then proceeded in good faith and incurred costs for solicitor fees and associated work on the understanding that the sale was agreed, subject to contract.

After this, I was informed the property was no longer available. The property is still being advertised for sale, which makes your explanation even more concerning.

This was not simply about an unsuccessful offer. It was about an accepted offer, money spent on my part, and what I consider to be poor and misleading communication from your office.

I expect honesty and transparency during a property transaction. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Love this estate agent. Andrew Craig deal with both the letting and sale of my property with admirable efficiency and dedication throughout. They are a great friendly and highly professional team. I am very grateful to them for their service and support

I bought a house through Andrew Craig and from the very first viewing the team were unbelievably helpful and clearly knowledgeable about the property. Throughout the whole process they went above and beyond, regularly chasing up solicitors and keeping me updated.

I began using the service of the Andrew Craig agency in Jarrow in 2022 because of the relatively good reviews it had online. My job took me away from my property for an extended periods of time and in the first two years there were a few full-management issues which were normally settled without too much hassle. However, from the beginning of 2025, due to my prolonged absence, the agency did not look after the property well, enabling small issues to be fixed at overcharging rates by their "reputable contractors" who would acquire handsome profits through this unethical practice. The agents Sholynne, Joani and Denise have been particularly unprofessional and unethical in their dealings with my house by not doing the work they were paid to do, but also charging twice for it. I cannot say enough how greedy, nasty and unethical they all were. Stay away from this agency if you can. Would not wish anyone to go through what I have been with them.

We recently purchased a property, and the entire process was remarkably stress free.

This was largely thanks to Kayley, who handled our transaction with the utmost professionalism and a very friendly manner. Throughout every stage, from the initial enquiry right through to completion, Kayley kept us consistently well informed, which gave us great peace of mind.
