After spending over $100,000 a few years ago with this company, now I’m starting a new project. I called Andersen, asking for an on site consultation. ONE HOUR LATER, I’m still answering idiotic ques... See more

Anderson backed up their products and came to the aid of this customer,
ANDERSON DID THE RIGHT THING AND MADE IT RIGHT FOR THIS CONSUMER. THUS RESTORING MY TRUST AND LOYALTY
Anderson advertises they stand behind their products and they will give no runaround just back their products with a guarantee. They also say their windows and doors are superior to others and will last for years with NO quality issues. THIS IS NOT TRUE!! My Anderson French doors all failed in quality by falling apart, yes exactly what Anderson says in their adds about quality materials and construction is cheap deteriorating failure. I contacted Anderson and was told “sorry you will have to pay for any replacements. I paid thousands of dollars for junk Anderson products!
200 series exterior sills separating
Has anyone had problems with exterior sill separating on 200 series andersen windows. Sent service rep out but cannot fix correctly. Manufactured 2020, started noticing 2022 to present. Every sill is at different stages of separating
Damaged storm door windows…
AW keeps sending me storm door windows that are either damaged in the factory or literally battered around by UPS, in which I refuse delivery at arrival due to package damage being taped up. Either way, after 2 deliveries of damaged doors, I now await a 3rd attempt with "heavy duty" packaging!damaged windows through UPS. I am stuck with the very first door they sent as, even though their website claims you can return things, they refuse to provide me with a call tag to return the defective item, which was damaged prior to boxing! Had I accepted the bent box with tape that just arrived, I would be saddled with that disposal fee as well! Therefore, I simply refused delivery on appearance alone. The disposal cost on the first delivery will be mine, apparently... No one from the USA answering the phones. Have talked to 4 Asians with American names in the last week, and one of them flat out hung up on me. Terrible customer service!
Windows failed after four years - buy some other brand
In July 2018 I purchased a brand new Energy Star rated house, with a HERS rating of 48, from an expert builder, featuring Andersen windows. Anderson marketing literature claims a life of 20 to 40 years, for their windows. Four years later three large windows on the sunny side have failed, are leaking and damaging our home. A field rep came to look over the situation. He concluded this was not an installation issue but a product failure. The plastic frames were cracking and water was leaking in and damaging the structure and interior walls. AWC appears to be willing to replace the windows, while ignoring the reality that removal and re-installation will cost double the value of the windows themselves. Apart from the cost - am I going to have to replace the “replacement” windows again four years from now??
Anderson sells expensive windows, but their quality doesn't justify the price, the customer service sucks and their warranty is useless.

Poor QualityAndersen Storm Door
I have an Andersen (company was previously called EMCO) storm door. It did not last even one summer and began to corrode and drip rust from the inside screws, bolts and hinges. Model# 23820 10 series. Stay away from this door. While the company has agreed to replace the door, they do not pay for reinstallation. And based on every review of this door I have read, I fully expect the new one to fail as well. Such a poor quality door from Andersen. Do better and either take it off the market or fix it and replace the ones that people like me are now stuck with.
Beware of online ordering.
Beware of online ordering.
Ordered a sliding screen for Patio doors.
Wrong size. My fault, I guess.
They required a restocking fee of 20%,OK,they do have to rebox it.
Additionally however, I'm responsible for freight. UPS ground cost exceeds the value of the screen. I asked for a shipping label which could be deducted from my refund at their corporate rate. (reasonable since their freight cost couldn't possibly be as much as the door itself. They invoke the P WORD - POLICY.
THEIR "POLICY" SHOULD BE ON THEIR ORDER FORM IN BOLD RED LETTERS.
I'm off to the town dump.
Nonexistent customer service
Nonexistent customer service. I have been getting unwanted sales/scam emails from Andersen every day for weeks. No way to unsubscribe. I have told them (adam.may at andersencorp.com) about this and asked them to stop it. I have had no reply and the emails are still flooding in. Buyer beware is my advice.
Patio Doors Replacements
The men (Barrett, Francisco, Keen and Eli) that replaced our patio door on both sides of our duplex were friendly, professional and very good at their jobs. The doors look great and we are very pleased.
Andersen does not have good customer…
Andersen does not have good customer service. They sent me a replacement part (lock for my door) in regular mail! It got to me over a week later, Thanks a lot. Also they put an unauthorized hold for over $500 on my credit card and it was a huge hassle to try to get someone to help me have it removed.
Renewal by Andersen Windows & Doors
I have had Renewal by Andersen windows for years. They hold up, look beautiful inside and out. Make my home feel snug and completes the exterior safety and security of my home.
Persistent junk mailers
Andersen Window replacement are persistent spammers.
They are such a pain, it makes you wonder if buying their products will be the same pain.
