Great Pass to have to explore Amsterdam…

Great Pass to have to explore Amsterdam and it’s countryside tour! You will save a lot of money with this pass. Follow the instruction to book time slot for some attractions and you also get to experience free entrance to many many museum and activities. Pair it with GVB day pass to have more freedom to move around with this pass.

By far the worst city card I've used!

I've bounced around Europe quite a bit the past few years and used a lot of "city cards" to maximize the value when hitting a bunch of sights and museums in a short period of time. The Amsterdam Pass is by far the worst one of the lot for many reasons. First of all, it's not readily apparent how to use it. There's no office at the airport where you can activate or ask questions (this is how other city cards work). They bury the free airport bus info on the site too, so figuring that out is complicated. But the real fun starts when you want to enter museums and attractions. About half of the things you want to see are NOT included with the Amsterdam Pass (Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, TropenMuseum, Royal Palace, etc...) which is also not normal for a city card. Of the attractions that do take the pass, half of THOSE are confused when you present your code and have to scramble around or ask a manager what the hell an "Amsterdam Pass" is. You see, there is another city card called "I AmSterdam" which seems to be the one that everybody uses and knows about, so when you use this one they don't recognize it. This card also does not include transit, so you have to buy a separate OV Chipcard to take the bus, tram and metro. Again, most city cards include this! I may have saved a coupe bucks with this card, but the hassle and annoyance involved with actually using it made it not worth the price. I do not recommend!

Very good !I suggest!

Very good experience, many attraction to see at a convenient cost. I suggest to keep with you a little plastic enveloper for the pass because it's easy to loose it . Paris and London pass gave us it to keep pass in a safer way.

Great

Amazing Pass, useful. We had a problem with the boat tour at Zaanse Saanse. It took multiple calls for them to acknowledge Amsterdam pass.

Amsterdam pass was great

Amsterdam pass was great. It gave us access to many attraction. The only downside was the bus route was not clearly marked and the app did not work properly. Your best bet is probably to walk.

Don't waste your time or money!

My mother was visiting from the US for the first time and this pass was practically useless for us. We spent good money for a 2 day pass and only used the HopOn HopOff 1 day and went to 1 museum. The pre-recorded audio on the buses doesn't work half the time. They fail to inform you that you have to pre-book almost all museums. The website is difficult to get any detailed information from or instructions on how to book/reserve. And they mis-inform you of what is included/free. I was excited to see that the Amsterdam festival of lights cruise was listed as "free" only to be told at the counter that there is an additional fee per person. When I asked if the brochure is just incorrect she very rudely told me "no, it is correct, but there is an additional fee". So, not so accurate. I love wasting my money and then being lied to.

I will be steering clear of anything offered by this company in any of the cities that I visit in the future.
