If I could rate Zero stars I would, because Amazon certainly deserves nothing more! My first Amazon order turned into a horrible, dissatisfying and utterly disappointing experience. Amazon failed to deliver and has absolute zero concern for customer satisfaction. Early this morning just after 10am the delivery guy contacted me via WhatsApp requesting my location and more info which would make his job easier. I oblige and provided him with the details. I even informed him that I would be arriving at 4pm if there’s a chance that I may have my delivery time earlier than his proposed 9pm. I contacted him numerous times on WhatsApp but received no reply. There’s no way of even contacting the delivery guy so it makes Zero sense! I even called the customer service line and still had no joy! I had the misfortune of having to deal with people who had little or no desire in customer service or customer satisfaction. Are you doing deliveries on a bicycle that you are in Dammam all day since morning and still can’t reach customers? Unfortunately this experience WAS UTTERLY DEVASTATING AND UNACCEPTABLE! By 11pm I most certainly canceled my first Amazon order and requested a refund. Would rather spend my hard-earned money where they value customers and prioritize customer satisfaction. Amazon you have failed dismally! You have to just do better. There are far too many competitors out there who knows the art of keeping their customers happy that I would have to submit myself to this anguish and being kept awake past my bedtime just to be disappointed. Amazon have sold me devices, falsely claiming that they allow me access to my music, to call my family, to stream video, etc. and I am unable to ANY of this on the devices at all. Amazon REFUSE (SEVEN attempts so far) to remove 2-factor authentication from my account meaning that I cannot register or access ANY of my devices (Echo, Echo Show, etc.). I have provided proofs of who I am (driving licence, passport, Iqama, etc.) as requested and STILL they refuse to remove this 'feature' despite PROMISING every time to do so. No only is this false advertising, it is also breaking the law under the UK Data Protection Act by denying me access to information that they are holding about me.
I am now taking legal action against Amazon.

If you actually receive your item it’s from someone who claims they can’t deliver it to you and you have to go and meet them to collect it.
Legitimate items are being advertised yet you will receive Counterfeit/Fake items made with cheap materials
Orders are being substituted for what the seller thinks is an acceptable alternative instead of what you paid for.
Orders you have waited for are being cancelled on the day you are supposed to receive them.
Returning items somehow ends up being your responsibility because couriers can’t be bothered to collect returns.

Incompetent lazy delivery service with useless tracking which tells you nothing, Amazon in other advanced countries actually show you the driver location etc and allow you to plan ahead. Customer service is lazy and drivers tend to expect customers to wait until 11pm or later until they get out of bed or finish their social life before doing what they are paid to do!

I am an Amazon Prime Member.
I ordered a couple of items which, according to the amazon.sa email notification, will be received on Nov. 25 - it was not delivered. There was not even a heads-up whatsoever that it wont be delivered.
Next day I received a message from the delivery guy asking for my pinned location. Replied accordingly and told him that I need it to be delivered after 6:00 PM because I was still at the office. He rudely replied and said: "That's your problem".
Called customer service and reported this incident. They said they will raise a complain and assured me my items will be delivered after 6 PM but it did not.
Day after that, I called again, they promised the same thing but nothing happened.
Today November 29, I received a message that my order was cancelled without my consent.

Amazon.sa used to be very reliable until a few weeks ago, when they suddenly raised their minimum free shipping amount to 150SR. Now you are paying for poor service at a higher threshold. Orders containing the wrong items are delivered to the wrong building. Tracking information gets stuck in the system. It takes ages to talk to a manager-some thing that I never even had to do before. I might go back to just buying what I need at the store…

Deteriorating Quality of Products and Services
I've been using Amazon. sa for a few years now and my experience with them buying different items and dealing with customer service staff was satisfactory until recently when I started purchasing sunglasses ever since I had a cataract operation a few months ago.
The items I've received either didn't match the listed specifications on their page or came in beaten-up boxes that had been opened, making them appear to be returned or used goods.
Regarding my most recent interactions with their customer service representatives, I would say that they are all still friendly and helpful, however not all of them were knowledgeable on the items. If they are unfamiliar with a certain product, just be honest and say they don't know or are not sure. I would accept that more than telling me wrong information and a few I talked to even went as far as making a 100% guarantee, only for me to find out they were wrong. Sometimes I wonder if they did this just to make a sale or if they just wanted to create a good impression so that I would give them high ratings at the end of the conversation. And yeah, how they would always tell you they will raise a complaint about this to the team, they will make sure this will not happen anymore, or they will take note of your complaints and submit to the team so it is not repeated, all these robotic-like template replies that would eventually all amount to nothing. I would suggest to other buyers not to rate them immediately, not until you've proven that they were telling you the correct information, or try to find the stuff somewhere else.
Amazon. sa should also have more detailed descriptions of products on sale if they're NEW, USED, PRE-OWNED, etc., apart from the usual information necessary like dimensions, which country of manufacturing (one thing that a lot of buyers would like to know about) maybe sample pictures of fit so that buyers would have a clearer idea of the quality of what they are buying.
The return and refund policy is very satisfactory but even though this works well for me, being let down on not having the items I want can still be frustrating. Not to mention the time and effort I have to spend going to the carrier company office to pick up or return an item.

My amazon account was temporarily locked from 10th of august and many of times i called and chat with costumer service but still now they are making excuse and answering like they forwarded the information and wait for 24 hours whenever i will talk with amazon they answer in same way each and every day and unable to solve the problem. This is a clever way of gaining private data from Amazon not sure if legal.
Bad service to top it all
Bad service at its best. rude drivers. incomplete orders. orders cancelled without explanation. order delivery date are far from accurate. and to sweeten the deal customer service takes it to a new level by screaming, talking over you and trying to dictate the one sided conversation. all they will do is tell you how you don't understand the amazon system. they don't even care that their practices are against local regulations.
