Worst after sell service

I found exactly what I needed online and the instore purchase was simple. I was able to arrange delivery for a small fee, if required. There was a great range of furniture and decorator products, giving buyers a number of quality choices, and multiple colour options. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is tidy and the layout makes it easy to locate what you're looking for. I always make Amart my first stop when looking for quality furniture and decor.

We were looking for a couple of recliners. We bought one online but the colour was totally wrong and it arrived damaged. We decided to only buy instore & visited one store that only had half of their stock on the floor. We couldn't see the items we were interested in. We then went to Amart and the range is massive, we found exactly what we wanted, on sale, and once trying it out, were able to purchase and leave in a few minutes. (Not to mention a 5 yr warranty). The staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable. The only downside was a 2 week wait but for the bargain we got we're happy to wait. Great store, service and range.

Product well presented quality Timber draw slides quality well packed no scratches no damage. The only thing I would like to know the finish is it straight oil so I can keep the the finish there.?

In store might be a different experience, but don't bother with online.

I purchased a bedframe that had a 6 week turnaround online, and it has been continually delayed and pushed back. I have been contacted once about the delays but when I called the customer service line back, a week away from when I was expecting the delivery they informed me it was further delayed, meaning it would be at least 13+ weeks before I actually receive my bedframe.
The customer service reps are nice but have no power or actual information, and when they try to pass you through to a real store they can't get through. So as far as I can tell there is no way for me to start any process of an exchange or refund. Their website claims it is possible for change of mind, but it is not possible through any normal contact method I have tried.
I will be reporting this lack of proper process and scam website to the ACCC and continue following up with them. I am still honestly hoping for the bedframe to arrive at some point, but its a lot of money to have no clear timeline of product delivery.

I saw reviews when I was purchasing my bedframe saying similar things about the customer service experience but ignored them because I was enamored by the specific bedframe that met all my needs. Don't be like me, listen to those 1 star reviews.
