Professional and quick. Due to my house being so small, this was the only company that wanted to help! Also good communications with the office people.

I was referred to A&M by my energy supplier Ovo. I had to chase them down a few times before they came out to do the inspection which should've been a red flag! After inspection I was told I would receive a full quote before I decided to go ahead but a few weeks later got a call from a separate company saying they were told to book me in for some extractor fan fittings. I asked A&M for a quote and list of works before I proceeded but they just sent me an email saying it'd be £350. No breakdown of costs or what they were actually doing to my house! I asked multiple times for an official quotation and they never sent it. The extraction was installed fine and the insulation was installed okay (although they were hours late so I wasted time waiting for them at home). Afterwards I received a call from the electricians asking for payment. Again I had received no paperwork whatsoever! No quote from anybody, I had no idea I would be paying this company directly. I have no idea what has actually been installed in my house, was left with no paperwork at all.
I complained about the terrible communication and got a half hearted "sorry about this" but still no paperwork! Extremely unprofessional and I'm surprised this is all above board.

Far too often I have to deal with companies who let me down, fall short on their promises and fail to deliver. Not the case with A&M. They call when they say they're going to call, they turn up when they say they're going to turn up. They kept me in the loop throughout the process of assessing, ordering and fitting my insulation and were polite and friendly during the job. No problem with using them again and no problem recommending them to others.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish.
Tony and Arron arrived promptly at 9am and worked non-stop into the afternoon — they were professional, friendly, and incredibly respectful of the home throughout. The quality of their work was outstanding — clean, precise, and clearly done with real care and attention to detail.

They explained everything as they went, made sure I was happy with every step, and even tidied up thoroughly before leaving. I honestly couldn’t ask for better installers — a credit to their trade and to the company.

Highly recommended, and would be more than happy to have them back for future work.

Super Company. Our insulation. was completed this week, the people were very professional, and tidy. Jo kept us informed in advance of extraction and following infill. We would certainly give A & M ten out of ten.

We had two extractor fans fitted, trickle vents in our windows and insulation laid in our loft. The engineers arrived on-time were quick, professional, polite and very clean and tidy. Their work was of a very high standard and the insulation in the loft is fantastic, again, very efficient, clean and tidy. I had one issue with the extractor fans and after reporting this to A&M Energy Solutions, an Engineer called me straight back to arrange for a visit (free of charge) with an appointment within a few days. Again, the Engineer arrived on-time, solved all of the problems and was extremely efficient. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending A&M Energy Solutions.

the guys turned up at 8am they did a risk assessment first very professional. { left then to do the job we had a look after they had finished an absolute blinder first- class job I am over the moon with the finish. I would certainly recommend this company and the two guys who done a first class job !!

In March 2024 I had cavity wall insulation installed in my house. Just a year and a half later it was discovered that a large “mountain” of beading had appeared in a “remote” part of my loft. I reported this to A&M and within a week I had a surveyor called & confirmed/explained the reasoning and organised for it all to be removed. Excellent service!

Be warned, this company refuse to reimburse costs as advertised! Despite repeated attempts to have my electrician costs reimbursed, they no longer reply to my emails

The initial enquiry to do some loft insulation was not responded to and I had to repeatedly chase up but finally I managed to get the surveyor here who was great and very professional. I had to once again chase them up for the fitting, but the fitter when he arrived early was great and did a professional job very quickly

Two young Welsh lads, very polite and efficient. Explained exactly what they were doing and why. Hottest day of the year. Gave them some tins of cold coca cola. It was the least I could do. Left the area clean and tidy and explained on completion of the job. Very pleased. Thank you

Had two representatives turn up for an assessment, the gent was blunt, rude and guilt tripping us over having to come from Portsmouth if we didn't want to proceed.

Absolute shambolic way to speak to a potential customer, which put us off right away. If they would have conducted themselves in a more professional manor things would of been different, however the impression made was very negative.

Had a gentlemen come round and make sure I was eligible. He said yes, roof insulation needed doing, wall cavity insulation, window vents, fans installed etc he agreed alot of work needed doing but not to worry, next morning received a text saying they would not help me as there is no felt in my roof. Make it make sense. The text stated that because there's no felt it's not waterproof which obviously means they can't help for any of the problems the gent brought up. Ridiculous. I called the company asking to explain and they said they don't know what to say. a supervisor would be in touch but the phonelines are temperamental, bullshit.

I contacted britsh gas, who then chased it up with them and after 8 days of no response from a&m I've received a message saying someone will be in touch for the next step of insulation. How odd.

We recently had cavity wall insulation and associated work completed as part of the current Government scheme. The team were friendly and helpful from the initial first visit through to completion and were happy to fully explain the process and to answer my queries, making the whole experience a very pleasant one.

I was skeptical at first having someone knock on my door explaining they could provide me cavity wall insulation free as part of the goverment scheme. I had read bad reports of foam insulation on wales online. I had to do my own research and check the company was legitimate. I had question after question which Glyn was able to provide detailed explanations. The surveyor came round on the next appointment to do an assessment and on the following appointment they provided me cavity beaded foam insulation and also provided me free kitchen and bathroom extractor fans and vents for the windows. The workmen were very quick, efficient and even tidied up after them. I noticed how warm the upstairs landing was after and now don't have to always open the bathroom windows. I couldn't fault them. Rob the electrician especially, who I gave a hard time too didn't complain and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely recommend their services. They have an outstanding team of people working at A & M

THey were very efficient, worked with care and protected everywhere they worked. Cleared out a very untidy loft and took a lot of rubbish away. Couldn't fault the team at all.
