My experience as a student-tenant
Don't let this be your only option. Beware, it smells of scam.
I rented a room for half a semester, and in the beginning, everything was Ok enough. The website is old, unstable and unintuitive, but it did showcase the apartments somewhat truthfully. Mine was a bit un-ready, and required A LOT of pushing to ready up, or if any issues arose, to get them fixed. I expected it, since Madrid's housing market works like that. The problem was at the end... Every month, on the first 5 days, you have to pay your rent and an estimate of your past utilities if the bills aren't ready yet; once you've finished you need to pay the last estimate for the last month you stayed. I did so, but they decided to raise it after the fact and detract it from my deposit. I'm currently fighting with them to get it back. Try and avoid it unless you literally have no other option, you'll get a room, but maybe also a problem.

Con la información que aparece en TrustPilot no sabemos quién eres eres, ni si realmente estuviste alojado con nosotros, solo sabemos que te llamas Javier. Llevamos más de 25 años gestionando el alojamiento de estudiantes, y nos duele tu opinión desfavorable. Pensamos que somos muy claros tanto en las obligaciones como en los derechos del estudiante, escritas en las cláusulas del contrato y que están en nuestra web de Aluni.net. Tanto en la publicidad del piso, como antes de contratar se indica que el estudiante, a falta de facturas de consumos, debe pagar las estimaciones que figuran en su contrato de alquiler, y que, según van llegando las facturas de consumos, se regulan los pagos de consumo de cada mes. Lógicamente, el último mes no suele haber factura de consumo, y se estima en función de las dos últimas facturas reales que hayan llegado al piso, y esto es de forma automática en la liquidación de la fianza, y así conseguimos devolver las fianzas en unos 15 días desde la salida del piso, sin tener que esperar el estudiante a la última factura de consumo que puede ser bimensual, y además, cargarla la compañía una quincena más tarde. De todas formas, si el estudiante desea esperar a las facturas reales antes de proceder a la liquidación de la fianza no hay problema. Nos gustaría poder ayudarte y conocer tu caso mas a fondo, por lo que no dudes en contactar conmigo.
