I have to agree with previous reviewer i too purchased the same unit INE F904D and has given me nothing but problems speed cameras read wrong values iphone doesn't sync contacts correctly all on a unit that cost £1000 been fobbed of now for over 12 months will never buy another Alpine unit again utter rubbish

FAILURE PROBLEM IN ALPINE DEVICE NAVIGATION
Nine months after installing an ALPINE brand navigator, it is impossible to update the maps, nor the traffic speed camera warnings, on a device that is supposed to be of the first brand. After the impossibility of the update as indicated by the manufacturer Alpine, and after conversations with the Sonauto company in Spain where the equipment was installed, I began a process of repair under warranty of the equipment, with the official Alpine SAT, the company Lycka Import SL . The equipment was sent directly to them, they have been doing tests with it for four months, and today, four months later, they send me the equipment again with maps but without the possibility that I can update them and what is worse without no location of traffic radars, since they have not been able to install them nor can I say when it will be possible to do so. Incredible but that's the way it is. ALPINE does not give any repair or restitution solution, because according to what they tell me, the application from which it should be done, hired by them, has some compatibility problem with this model of equipment (just bought) and they tell me that even if they give me a new one , will happen the same. The device ALPINE was acquired from SONAUTO even indicating that there were two years of free updates available, and the truth is that it is not possible or paying. By telephone, the ALPINE SAT excuses itself that it is not Alpine's fault, which is the application for the Naviextras updates, but in the end what does not work is their equipment and that application or another must be the ones who guarantee the update of a new team. I have asked them that if it is a problem of this model that is "outdated", that I pay the difference with a superior model if the problem is already corrected and that they change it, but they also refuse.
