Alpha Plumbing is running a scam
Alpha Plumbing is running a scam on home warranty customers and I have it on tape. Their "senior" technician came to my home to diagnose a very simple pinhole leak in a copper pipe. A textbook warranty claim. I recorded the entire interaction. Plumbing system 'modifications' are not covered by the home warranty. On that recording he defined a "modification" as anytime you cut and remove a pipe and reconnect which means by his own definition, no pipe repair can ever be covered under your warranty. He then submitted service notes to my warranty company containing false statements about prior repairs in my home that never happened. I disputed the denial, hired a second licensed plumber who fixed the identical job for LESS than what Alpha wanted for the non-covered portion alone, and that licensed plumber confirmed Alpha's modification classification was professionally dishonest. I ultimately WON the dispute with my warranty company, who reimbursed me after I threatened regulatory complaints. Alpha Plumbing cost me weeks of stress and a repair that should have been covered from day one. Zero stars.
