The service I have received has been…

The service I have received has been absolutely unacceptable. It has taken nearly two months to receive a refund for a return that was confirmed as delivered on 4 February. Throughout this entire process I have received contradictory information and excuses, including being told the parcel was still “in transit,” despite tracking clearly showing it had already been delivered to your warehouse.

The constant misinformation and lack of accountability has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Your website states that refunds are processed within a certain timeframe, yet this has clearly not been honoured in my case.

Based on this experience, I would never recommend anyone purchase from ALO. The returns process described on your website does not reflect the reality of the service being provided, and this should be reviewed and corrected so that customers are not misled.

This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever encountered.

Terrible company

Terrible company, colours always mismatching when you buy a full set, meaning one item will appear darker than the matching item making it look stupid even though it’s the same colour on the website. And also refunds from returns, takes months. Keep saying this and that but no progress will ever be made. Absolute scam of a TikTok trend brand. DO NOT BUY!

I received a pair of $148 trousers as a gift for Christmas.
I have been trying to exchange for a smaller size and ALO Yoga will not return without the customer email and number that purchased them. It took me a few weeks to get the information from the person who gifted them to me. They purchased several weeks before Christmas and since over 30 days they will not exchange. I am stuck with pants I cannot wear. I received several other items from them. The sweatpants do not wash well. They already look really old . Not worth the money . Do not buy. Also the $200 pair of Mode sneakers are cheap looking and look like an air Jordan , Knock off

I didn’t know this store had such a low…

I didn’t know this store had such a low rating until I came here to write my review. If I saw it earlier, I definitely wouldn’t buy from them.

I made one order, and after some time suddenly there were 5 more orders in my account going to someone else’s address. I contacted support right away, but they refused to help or fix anything.

Because of this I lost a lot of money and a lot of nerves. The support didn’t even bother to really check my orders and try to stop the shipments going to scammers. They just didn’t want to look into the problem or try to solve it.

Feels very careless and incompetent. Really disappointed.

Defective product and no help from customer service


I bought an Alo Yoga t-shirt in a physical store in Thailand while traveling. The t-shirt became damaged after the very first wear, which clearly indicates a defect.

I contacted customer service multiple times but they keep repeating that they cannot help because the purchase was made in Thailand and I now live in Norway.

Returning to Thailand just to resolve a defective product is obviously impossible.

For a premium brand like Alo Yoga this level of product quality and customer support is very disappointing. The only solution offered was a 10% discount code, which is not acceptable for a defective item.

FRAUD company avoid they steal your money

My daughter ordered 16 items totalling £1300

One small t shirt arrived and proof of photo and weight was sent to all showing one small package
They refused to help her saying case closed package delivered ?

My daughter is a student and they are refusing to state where the other 15 items are
Ignoring all her emails now

How can 16 items fit inside an envelope size package ???

This company is one big issue after another

This company is one big scam, their customer service is awful.

I had a damaged item and they arranged a replacement. I then decided I wanted to return as the quality was equally as shocking. They refused the refund and return and instead said I would get store credit. They then proceeded to drag me along for weeks and weeks on why I hadn’t received it. When I chased a final time, they then said I couldn’t have it as it’s out of returns window. It’s absolutely shocking they are able to trade and they certainly know nothing about the law.

I’ve been asking for a subject access request which they’ve ignored and one of their customer service actually terminated the chat for me asking. They don’t follow the law or the rules and instead they mess you around with poor quality items and even poorer customer service.

I’m still waiting for my subject access request and a point for escalation.

I recently visited this store in dublin

I recently visited this store and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience. I walked in carrying a reusable shopping bag, which I often bring with me when I’m out. Shortly after entering, I noticed staff members repeatedly watching me and following me around the store while continuously looking at my bag.
This made me feel very uneasy and singled out while I was simply trying to browse like any other customer. I eventually approached a staff member to politely ask if there was an issue or if my bag was a problem, but the response I received was dismissive and came across as quite rude.
As a customer, I expect to feel welcomed and treated with basic respect when entering a store. Instead, I felt judged and uncomfortable the entire time I was there. I hope management looks into how customers are approached in situations like this, because no one should feel monitored or unwelcome while shopping.

Terrible quality and worse customer service

Purchased an item less than 2 months ago and it has pilling all over looks like it is years old. Got onto customer service sent my receipt, pictures of the item they asked would store credit or replacement suffice then to be told (by Neil) they can’t find my order (it was an in store purchase) chat abruptly ended with if that’s all for now, thank you for contacting us! Terrible customer service and awful quality of material. Avoid purchasing as not worth there higher price tags!!!

Learned my lesson!

I’ve lived and traveled in dozens of countries, but truthfully the worst customer service experience would be right here with Alo!

I ordered a pink tennis dress when I was living in Australia. The shipment was prompt, and so was the arrival. The problem? Instead, I received a matching set of brown sweats.
Not only did I have to reach out to multiple customer service agents, go to DHL and ship the wrong order back myself (before they would consider a replacement) but they kept asking for pictures of the wrong items even after I had already shipped everything back!

They were so slow to provide a solution or replacement that 3 weeks passed and I already moved out of Australia.

The next month, I was going back back-and-forth probably over a dozen emails with different customer service agents, some saying that yes they can ship my order to another country, with the final verdict being that they can’t! (So the other agents just gave me wrong information?)

So I was just refunded the money, two months later.

If they were more prompt and careful not only in the initial order, but in the replacement, everything would have been fine. Never seen such a company where everything is up to the customer to move the problem forward and get a solution.

Waiting for me to ship the wrong order back BEFORE they can send me the correct order?
Normally a company with good customer service should not even request you go through the hassle of shipping them back, just through the pictures and proof you provide they should send you your correct order without the extra fuss of dozens of emails and weeks of time spent.

Bad design

I did not buy anything here. I wanted to as they were the only shop selling tennis skirts/skorts and I needed on. I did not buy. Why? Irrespective of the quality issues that others have cited what is the point of a tennis skirt without a ball pocket? All of Alo's skirts lacked a ball pocket. Surely a design oversight.

Terrible customer service experience

Terrible customer service experience

I ordered a gift from Alo Yoga for my girlfriend in New York. The first package was never delivered.
The replacement arrived but the size didn't fit her.

After contacting support, I requested a store credit because the gift was for the US and my card is international. After more than a month of exchanges and a return, no refund was issued to my card.

I've contacted the customer service again and can you believe it or not... He kept me on hold and just after 5min tells me "we have issued a refund". My card is international and I wanted to ease the gift for my girlfriend, obtain a credit score so she could directly go and choose in the store.

This completely defeats the purpose of the gift and wasted more than a month... And I thought I was doing a great present but it's more headache than anything else.

Very disappointing customer service experience.

Top quality and very fast delivery

I’ve seen many negative reviews about Alo Yoga, but my personal experience has been only positive. I’ve ordered several times, and the delivery has always been fast and reliable. The quality of the products is excellent — comfortable, durable, and beautifully made.

Terrible Product/ Terrible Customer Service

Was bought a (very expensive) pair of trousers from Alo. The product leaves LOTS of micro fibres (bobbles) on the carpet. My partner tried to resolve with Alo and gave up as they were making it very difficult to resolve.

DO NOT BUY and hopefully their bad practices will catch up with them at some point soon. Total rubbish at a premium price.

Tantamount to a scam.

I’m really disappointed

I’m really disappointed, I ordered leggings that I thought were very good quality from the price of how much they were the first time I tried them on they ripped and are now starting to come apart by the thread which makes them look cheap and rubbish I would appreciate a refund as I would never go out my way for something to be that expensive for it to turn out rubbish. I have worn them once for this reason, I was extremely excited to open them and didn’t open them until 2 weeks after.

SCAM ALERT: Deceptive service, dirty items, and terrible support for international orders.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Alo Yoga (Order #34638627). As an international customer, I received a package that was a total disaster:
1. Quality Issues: One headband arrived completely unbagged, heavily wrinkled, and visibly DIRTY with used marks.
2. Missing/Wrong Items: One item was entirely missing, and for another, they sent a cheap scrunchie instead of the high-end headband I paid for.
I have clear photo evidence for all of this. Initially, an agent named Irish admitted the mistakes and promised a reshipment and refund. However, when I followed up, supervisors Ad and Ley retracted the promise, falsely claimed "account inconsistencies," and ABRUPTLY CLOSED the chat window twice to avoid helping.
This is a clear case of consumer fraud. They take your money and refuse to honor their own mistakes. I have already filed a chargeback with my bank. International customers, PLEASE STEER CLEAR of this brand. They do not care about you once they have your money.

Been trying for 2 month to make a gift…

Been trying for 2 month to make a gift return. I received 2 of the exact same sweatshirts and just wanted to exchange one for another color. Sweatshirt still in bag and all tags. I filled out their form on-line twice with them responding that someone will be with me as soon as possible. I emailed them twice and they again responded that someone will be with me as soon as possible. Of course, you can't get a hold of anyone on the phone. I started a chat twice with an agent, who after 30 minutes, told me no problem they will send me return label for my exchange. No return label ever showed up. I started another chat with another agent only for them to tell me, sorry your return window is closed. Even though I have been trying to do this for 2 months only to be given the run around by Alo. For what they charge, their customer service and return policy SUCKS! I will never buy from them again!

The customer service is great however, the quality of their sweats are crap. After one wash my pants are peeling and dropping little lint ball of fabric all over my floor and I am constantly vacuuming. I think I will stick with Lululemon.
