Unprofessional and money maker

ALM Conveyancing was engaged in 2017 for property settlement and part payment was made upfront just to ensure things move smooth for end 2020 project. Settlement date came early than expected and what the world was facing in 2020 everyone is aware of that. Due to client’s financial hardship it couldn’t be settled and it was communicated to the business.
So few days later client was served with 1st notice to settle and still no joys with workforce.
Whole situation was again communicated to the business and business was advised that once things are back to normal with job, we will continue.
Upon receiving of 2nd notice the client was in position to move further that is where business got advantage of ditching the client in last minute for non payment.
Irony is even after paying invoice with additional late fees business charged, works were pending and business ceased to act. File was left at office’s doorstep for client to pick up and couldn’t be hand delivered. What a shame
Purely unprofessional for any business to treat their valuable clients in such a way
Will not recommend to anyone
