I’ll never use one of their chargers…

I’ll never use one of their chargers again! Went into a car park and 3 chargers with 6 spaces available.
No wonder no one was using them. We needed a charge so checked all the signs - no restrictions so stated charging and went for a meal.
When we got our bill we’d been charged for overstaying! Only allowed 45 mins! And we’d been 3 hours. Still no one else using the chargers. All the locals must know!!!
When queried they said their charges were on the app and website. You don’t need to go on the app or website to use the chargers so you’re not going to know. It’s all about deceiving people into using tier chargers.

I can’t explain how Dutch…

I can’t explain how Dutch municipalities even allow such a fraudulent company to enter the local market! Their “forgotten session” policy is total bizarre which may cost you 50EUR a day if you can’t take a car immediately. Main point is - none of chargers is even closely capable to earn such amount just by reselling the energy. But this money for extra stay flow directly into Allego account and I can assume represent an essential part of their pricing policy. The worst part - there are municipalities like Zandvoort where this operator took the true monopoly. They covered the whole city with charges which partially are always free and only few of alternative Dutch companies like Shell or Watenfall are almost permanently occupied!
As a resident I vote strictly against this operator to be present in my neighborhood and I want to find the government organ which can audit their monopoly and aggressive pricing against the government program to increase number of electric cars. Currently it’s opposite - just because of Allego uniquely taking Zandvoort fully I am planning to change car to gasoline back!!

Charging to park in a free car park!

DO NOT charge your car at any of this companies charging points across Europe. They have a very expensive and costly charge for using the chargers for anything more than 40 minutes. They don't make this clear. Avoid their charging stations at all costs. Use someone else, anyone else.
